Here’s the newest cast member for CSI: Miami. It’s Megalyn Echikunwoke who plays the new coroner, Dr. Tara Price. I have to hand it to the casting folks for the show. They replaced a beautiful actress with an equally beautiful and talented one. I’m a fan of Khandi even now that she’s left the show, but have to admit that Megalyn is a wonderful replacement. I’ve begun to be her fan as well.

Monday night we’ll get to see the CSI: Miami episode featuring guest star Diddy. The cast members have been telling us he would be on the show soon and now we’ll finally get to see him in the role of a defense attorney. And he may be a corrupt attorney at that! It seems that he may be involved in a coverup. I can’t imagine a more exciting chalenger for the strength of Horatio than a character played by Diddy! Here’s a clip:

Here’s a new interview where Megalyn Echikunwoke talked to the folks at TV Water Cooler about how she researched to play CSI: Miami’s new coroner. I thought it was a bit disturbing to find out that the LA County coroner’s office has a gift shop…EEWWW! But the interview is good. She tells us that she’s disappointed that she won’t have any scenes with Diddy when he guest stars on the show later this season, but she does a fantastic impression of David Caruso:

CSI: Miami now has yet another beautiful cast member…it’s an embarrassment of riches, so to speak! The actress who plays the new coroner, Megalyn Echikunwoke is simply amazing looking in this photo taken of her at the 18th Annual Environmental Media Awards on November 13. I absolutely love the skirt!
