CSI: Miami – Omar Miller Talks About His New Role
November 7, 2009 by Lynn
I was happy to see Omar Miller join the cast of CSI: Miami because I’ve really enjoyed his work in other shows and films. He brought a wonderful sense of humor to a show I loved last season that was canceled, Eleventh Hour. Now, he’s going to bring his gift to CSI: Miami fans. That’s great news for us!
Recently, he sat down on Hollywood 411 to discuss his new role on the show. You can see his humor in the interview:

My contact at TV Guide just sent the tip about this interview that A.J. Buckley, aka Adam the lab rat on CSI: NY, did with them. If you’re like me, you are on pins and nedles, waiting to find out which of the CSI: NY characters will be killed off in the season finale that’s coming up. Thank goodness they asked him about it, or I might have been upset.
But surprisingly, he says that the cast is still completely in the dark about who it’s going to be. They won’t even find out their own fate until the scripts …read more

In this clip, Diddy tells Hollywood 411 about his experience as a guest star on CSI: Miami. Believe it or not, the coolest of cool Diddy was actually nervous about it! Emily Procter at the Grammy Awards
February 9, 2009 by Lynn
Last night was the annual Grammy Award Show and CSI: Miami’s own Emily Procter introduced the Jonas Brothers. In this clip of her being interviewed on the red carpet, she tells about how her nieces and nephews think she’s a pretty cool aunt because she got to meet the Jonas Brothers. She also talked about the dress she wore. Apparently it was designed from someone with less “Zone 2″. Here’s the clip:

CSI: Miami Stars Talk to ET About Tonight’s Episode
Episode 7.14 – Smoke Gets In Your CSIs
Air Date: February 2, 2009
I love this clip! In it, David Caruso (Horatio), Emily Procter (Calleigh) and Khandi Alexander (Alexx) all tell ET about tonight’s episode.
Emily talks about how she has wanted a plot line like this for Calleigh since the beginning of the show and how she actually fell asleep during the filming of a scene. Khandi talks about how she comes to get involved in the case and how she will work to try to save Calleigh. And, of course David tells about how the cast is thrilled to have …read more
William Petersen Talks About Leaving the Show
January 15, 2009 by Lynn
CBS just relased this little clip of William Petersen talking about what it’s like to leave the show after 8 and a half years. He says that all the things Grissom is going to go through on screen tonight are the same things he’s going through in real life. Grissom is leaving the people and the job he’s grown to love, and so is Petersen. It really seems to be bitter sweet for him. And it make me wonder why he’s leaving the show if he loves it so much…
Tonight is Grissom’s last episode as a regular CSI: Vegas cast …read more
Megalyn Echikunwoke Interview
January 7, 2009 by Lynn
Here’s a new interview where Megalyn Echikunwoke talked to the folks at TV Water Cooler about how she researched to play CSI: Miami’s new coroner. I thought it was a bit disturbing to find out that the LA County coroner’s office has a gift shop…EEWWW! But the interview is good. She tells us that she’s disappointed that she won’t have any scenes with Diddy when he guest stars on the show later this season, but she does a fantastic impression of David Caruso:

Lauren Lee Smith Talks About Her New CSI Role
Now that we’ve had a chance to see Lauren Lee Smith in action as CSI Riley Adams, we know that she brings a new dynamic to an already established team. She comes to the cast as a fresh face and a whole new, quirky character. Some people say that they don’t like the character, and a lot of us do. But no matter which side of the issue we fall on, I think this interview with Lauren Lee Smith might offer a bit more insight into the character and what she is intended to do as part of the show.
