With all the success of the three CSI series, it’s amazing that none of the shows or their main characters have gotten Emmy Awards. What’s up with that?
The good news is that some of the fantastic folks behind the scenes are nominated for Emmys this year, including the makeup for that episode of CSI: Vegas that did a trbute to Battlestar Gallactica, A Space Oddity. CSI: NY guest star Ed Asner is also nominated for his performance in Yarzeit, the episode about Nazi war criminals.

I found some photos of Jorja Fox at the Entertainment Weekly’s 6th Annual Pre-Emmy Party held at the Historic Beverly Hills Post Office in Los Angeles on September 20. Her new haircut makes her look quite different to me. I guess since she’s not been in the public eye as much in recent months, a change is more surprising than it might be otherwise.

On last night’s Emmy Awards Show, William Petersen and Laurence Fishburne shared the stage to present an Emmy Award. They were so appropriate to present as a team, since one represents the original cast of CSI: Vegas and the other represents the new generation of the show. They both looked handsome on stage, don’t you think?

Beautiful Sofia Milos, from CSI: Miami attended Los Angeles Confidential Magazine’s Pre-Emmy Party at Les Deux on September 20. In my opinion, she is one of the most beautiful women on TV. And what a dress!

ABC has announced a very interesting pairing of actors to present an Emmy Award together. William Petersen who plays CSI: Vegas’ Gil Grissom will present alongside the show’s newest cast member, Laurence Fishburne. I like it that they will probably make a joke or two about one replacing the other or one leaving so the other will have to step in….
Be sure to watch the Primetime Emmys on Sunday, September 21 on ABC for both of them on stage together.
