Hill Harper’s “Letters” Popular, but Drops Off Best Seller List

After spending last week at Number 5, and the week before at Number 1, Hill Harper’s latest book Letters to a Young Sister: DeFINE Your Destiny has dropped out of the top 15 on the New York Times Bestseller List. The book, however, is still a huge success. Winning over hearts in the African-American community, the book is an incredible inspiration to young women of all races and cultures.
Hill Harper spent part of June touring in promotion of his new book. Hopefully, we’ll see more from him soon.

Summer CSI: NY Fix – Four Walls

If you’re jonesing for some fresh CSI: NY action, this summer, pick up a copy of the novel CSI: New York: Four Walls. [Ah, those colons. Get William Safire on the horn, Schnell!]
The novel, written by Keith R. A. DeCandido, puts Mac and the team in the middle of a medium security prison on Staten Island, where two homicides have taken place. While one death has plenty of witnesses and evidence, the other turns out to be one of those CSI puzzlers, where the apparent cause of death changes as new evidence is discovered.

Hill Harper Talks About His New Book “Letters to a Young Sister”

The very busy Hill Harper had some time away from playing Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on CSI: New York, recently, and spoke with Kristine Huntley over at CSI Files.
Harper shares some tidbits on Season 5 of CSI: New York, including his own –yet unsubstantiated- prediction that Hawkes will soon have a love interest. He also talks about how smoothly Season 4 went, given the strike and its many related hurdles.
