Country music fans can get excited now. Today, we just got word that CSI: Vegas has booked country music superstars Rascal Flatts as guest stars in an upcoming episode. They will play themselves in the episode and it sounds fantastic!

n “Unshockable,” which exec producer Carol Mendelsohn points out is “a riff off [the group's] hit album, tour and song… [they'll] be playing themselves. One of the guys — and tear out my fingernails, but I won’t say who — will become the victim of a crime. The other two ‘Rascals’ will be suspects… thus, jeopardizing the future of the band.”

“Of course, there will be lots of music,” Mendelsohn promises, “and perhaps, even a new original song.” [Source: EW]

Episode 6.12: Second Chances
Air Date: December 16, 2009

This is going to be a fascinating CSI: NY episode with all the great guest stars in it! With Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Minnillo, Pat Monahan, music group Train and Lala Vazquez in it, we’ll be so star-struck we may not even care if it’s a good case this time. But then again, I hope the case is an interesting one too. I’m seriously looking forward to this one!

In an upcoming episode of CSI: NY, there will be a number of very famous and exciting guest stars. The case will be about a reformed addict that is found dead. And the guests are amazing.

Not only will Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Minnillo, and Lala Vazquez play parts in the case, but Pat Monahan from the musical group Train will play a role and Train will perform in the episode too. That alone is worth the price of admission, in my book! I’ll update you as details are released.

CSI: NY fans know that Danny & Lindsay have been through an awful lot as a couple in the past year. So much that yet another person has asked for (and gotten) spoiler info about the pair. This time, the spoiler comes from TV Guide:

ADAM: Even though conventional TV wisdom suggests otherwise, executive producer Pam Veasey promises that this couple will remain rock-solid. “We’re not going to go the typical [route],” Veasey says. “They went through a lot to get together, and they will now go through things together. CSI: Vegas – Episode 10.10 – Better Off Dead
Air Date: December 17, 2009

Looking at these photos, I am struck by the feeling that I have stood in this exact area. Last New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas, in the area where valets bring Bellagio guests their cars was decorated and looked exactly like this. I don’t know if that is where they took these shots and filmed the scene, but it sure does look like it.

This may be a very interesting CSI: Vegas episode because it involves a suicide gone wrong. I’m looking forward to watching the team navigate the twists and turns of this case.

CSI: Miami – Episode 8.11 – Delko for the Defense

These are photos from the CSI: Miami episode where Eric Delko returns, but not with the team. He’ll be working to get the defendant acquitted, instead of convicted. Instead of being a part of the close-knit team of CSIs he worked with for years, he’ll have to go head-to-head against them in court…and out-think them with the evidence.

I like the fact that Adam Rodriguez will be in the episode, but I don’t think I want to see him in a different role…

CSI: Vegas – Episode 10.09 – Appendicitement
Air Date: December 10, 2009

Here are a few photos from CSI: Vegas episode entitled Appendicitement. From the captions, it’s clear that the case will involve a double homicde at a biker bar. But the other spoilers for the episode mention finding a corpse with a raccoon stuck on its face and a bunch a guys taking a guy named Henry to a closed rib place for his birthday. It promises to be a pretty odd episode and just the kind that I love.

CSI: NY fans know that couple Lindsay & Danny have had their share of things to cause potential relationship problems so far this season, and the season is only half over! Danny was paralyzed for a while and had to work to regain his motor functions and they had a baby girl. A new baby is always a huge adjustment for a couple.

So many fans of the pair have been wondering if they will make it through all these recent stressors and continue to be a loving couple. Well, here’s a bit of a spoiler to let us know what we might expect for them:

Question: Can you please give us some Danny and Lindsay scoop on CSI: NY? —Chrissi

Ausiello: I can’t, no. But exec producer Pam Veasey sure can. “Danny and Lindsay remain the happily married parents of Lucy,” she says. “The only hint of problems [result] from the few unexpected moments of back pain Danny experiences — [remnants] of his gunshot injury and temporary paralysis. A lot of CSI fans have talked about the fact that they are hoping that the shows will all be back for additional new seasons. Nothing definite has been announced, but if you take a look at the latest probabilities, the shows are all probably going to be safe for another season. So keep your fingers crossed and I’ll let you know when there is news.
