There’s no definite news about it, but it could be a very strong possibility. According to Kristin at E! Online, last week when Emily Procter from CSI: Miami was in Monaco for the Monte Carlo TV Festival she told the press that she is hoping to have a baby in her personal life this year and it may be something that will work out on screen too.

Even though Emily is unattached, she feels that it’s time for her to have children of her own. Here’s what she said about it:

“I am hoping this is my year to have children,” she says. “I understand that I am possibly more European in my views of marriage. I am not going to say I’m not going to get married, but it’s not my priority. I think the Eric [Adam Rodriguez] and Calleigh story will work nicely if this is my year to get pregnant, and hopefully it will be.”

While grabbing the photos of Gary Dourdan on the set of his new movie Fire, I found this one of what is labeled to be “his girlfriend.” There’s no mention of her name, but she’s pretty. The other actor in the photo is German actor Ken Duken. It seems that Gary’s life is going pretty well these days!

Fan favorite among the crew in CSI: Vegas, Gary Dourdan has agreed to appear on Season Two of VH1’s reality series, Celebrity Rehab, according to The National Enquirer. If you, by chance, love VH1 Reality, or, at least Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, this is good news. For CSI fans, this may just sound awkward. It’s difficult to say. One, they are still just rumors. Two, Dr. Drew is a talented practitioner, and the first season’s exhibition of the trials of rehab arguably made a positive impact on a sizeable swath of American youth.

Dourdan was arrested in April after police found drugs in his car. The CSI favorite agreed to a plea bargain requiring him to pay a $4,500 fine and to complete a 16-class drug program. I’m not sure Celebrity Rehab counts, but who cares?

True or not, let’s hope that the series will have the power to save a few lives. That would make it worth it.

Recently, we found out that CSI: Vegas’ Gary Dourdan, aka Warrick, will be leaving the CSI cast at the end of this season. And there have been hints that the parting was not a voluntary one. Now comes the news that hunky Dourdan has been arrested after a night of heavy partying in Palm Beach.

He must have had a long night of partying, because about 5:00 am police officers found him asleep in a car on the wrong side of the street. When they tried to talk to him he seemed “disoriented.” He was taken to Palm Springs jail and later he posted $5,000 bond and was released. His charges were possession of suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills.

I wonder how much drugs could have played a part in his agreeing to leave the show. Or, conversely, I wonder if the stress of leaving the show drove him to self-destructive behavior, like using drugs.

Whatever the case, I hope for only best for him and if he does have a drug problem, I hope this is a wakeup call for him to get help. What are your thoughts?

According to Great Dating Services, Eddie Murphy is now dating Lara LaRue, the sister of Eva LaRue. She’s a waitress, 25-years-old, very good looking and a model.

Eddie has told his friends that he’s in love with Lara and is happier than in a long time. Apparently, they met at a bowling match in March and things just clicked.

All I can say is that I hope she takes things slowly and considers his history with women…

Perhaps she will. No, there are no current reports that Jorja Fox is expecting or anything, but the Celebrity Baby Blog reports that she wants to have one now that she’s off CSI and has more time. Here’s a quote:

Theater is one of my loves, so I’m open for that after 11½ years of working in prime-time TV, for ER, The West Wing and ‘CSI.’ I’ve never been to college, and I think about that. But I kept putting it off, and I am also thinking about having a child, and that’s really important.

Reports are everywhere that CSI: Miami’s David Caruso is now involved in a new media startup business called Lexicon Digital Communications. No one seems to really know what the business is about, but the web site gives some pretty strange clues.

David Caruso appears in an enigmatic video with others walking in the desert, riding on an escalator and other equally enlightening things.

I do like the colors of the logo. (Hey, if you can’t say something nice…)

It’s also unclear what David Caruso’s involvement is in the company. He may be a marketing front man, or an investor, or who knows…maybe they really make sunglasses…

TV Guide has a new article available today with more details about the upcoming plotline involving the CSI:NY team pursuing a murder from the real world into the online MMPG “Second Life” franchise.

Lab geek and Second Life devotee Adam Ross (A.J. Buckley) realizes that an oddly attired corpse is a dead ringer for a virtual character — aka an avatar — named Venus. When he discovers that despite the death of her look-alike, the avatar still exists on the site, the question becomes: Is the real-life person who’s controlling Venus online the real-life killer?

With Ross’ help, Det. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) creates his own avatar and heads into Second Life to investigate. “I think this may be the first time a television show has interacted so specifically with the Internet,” Sinise says. “The virtual world of this episode is really fun, entertaining and cutting-edge. Anthony Zuiker always seems to have his finger on the pulse of what’s coming next.”

CSI: NY is pursuing some interesting tech related plotlines. Their recent plot with the time traveling professor and now with a virtual person crossing over and killing in the real world is pretty cool.

I’ve never played Second Life, but have heard a lot about it. My fear for starting to play is that I’m sure I’d get absorbed into it and have even less time in my “real” day.

An article today on TV Guide states that Jorja Fox is definitely leaving the show, more than likely in the November sweeps period. The fans of Grissom/Sidle relationship may not be very happy though, even if it doesn’t mean her departure will happen as a result of her demise.

With Fox’s send-off slated for sometime during November sweeps, might Sara-Grissom fans receive proper closure? “I don’t think you’re going to get that,” Fox recently told the Ausiello Report. “This might sound vain, but the story of Sara and Grissom is a little like a fable, and most great fables don’t really have 100 percent resolution.”

Jorja says one of the reasons she’s more eager to leave now is because there are things she’d like to accomplish before she gets too old. She also said that if CSI “were on its last legs” she hang in there, but she doesn’t think the show is going anywhere for awhile so she needs to get out now while she can.

I’ve said it before, Sara’s not one of my favorite characters by any means. There will be a hole left in her departure, but one that I think will be filled fairly quickly.
