CSI: Vegas – Episode 10.09 – Appendicitement

Reading the story line for this CSI: Vegas episode below made me laugh. It says that one body has a raccoon stuck in its face. LOL! I’m sure it wouldn’t be very good for the raccoon, and I’m sure no animal was harmed with the filming. But it could add a comical touch to what looks like a funny episode. Here are the spoilers we have so far:

STORY LINE: It’s a full moon, and the nuts are out. Three of the CSI guys “abduct” the hapless Henry to celebrate his birthday at a remote rib place, not realizing that the place was closed by the health department months ago. But their outing has yet more disasters in store, including the discovery of a corpse with a raccoon stuck on his face… [Source: SpoilerTV]

Last night, we saw the third part of the all-CSI crossover trilogy. I was so excited to see Laurence Fishburne on all three CSI series, and I knew the story would be gripping. I was not disappointed about either. But I felt just a bit like the three parts were a bit too different. Is it just me?

I get it that the same group was taking girls and forcing them into prostitution and when they refused to cooperate they would dismember them and dump them. And I get it that the girls were being trafficked all across the nation by crazy truckers. And I get that pimps in Las Vegas were fighting over turf and would hijack each other’s girls. But it just seemed a bit like each of the series’ portions of the story were too disjointed from the others. Maybe that’s just me…?

I loved Langston getting to work with both Horatio and Mac. And I loved the idea of a series of crimes that moved from city to city. But it seemed to me like the M.O. of the crimes changed too drastically with each city.

I could be completely wrong about it. I would love to hear your input about the three episodes. Do you think they tied together smoothly enough? Did you think the differences in the crimes on each of the segments was necessary or clear enough? I would love to get your opinions and hear what other CSI fans have to say. This should be good. The CSIs will take on bowling leagues. There’s no telling what bowlers will do when a tournament is interrupted on CSI: Vegas. I’m looking forward to the episode!

I am getting so excited about next week’s three-part, all-CSI crossover event! First of all, I’ve been a Laurence Fishburne fan for many years and love him on CSI: Vegas. But now we’ll get to see his character on all three CSI series in one week! That’s insanely cool!

Ahhh! Revenge. So many evil deeds have been done over the course of history for the sake of revenge. And the CSIs will find one more as they investigate the seemingly unrelated crimes in this CSI: Vegas episode.

Personally, I like the new roles that Nick and Catherine are playing this season. It brings a freshness and a sense of reality to the show. After all, very few people would work for ten years in the same job with no promotion and still be happy. It makes sense that they would move up. What do you think?

Now that we’ve learned that Sara Sidle is back on CSI: Vegas “indefinitely”, fans want to know if Grissom will be on the show any time soon?

Personally, I would love to see a lot more interaction between Grissom and Langston. Together, they are wonderful! But Michael Ausiello at EW gives us this tidbit of a spoiler to straighten things out:

Question: I’m thrilled Jorja Fox is sticking with CSI, but what about William Petersen? I want to see Grissom and Sara together. —Alex

Ausiello: They were just together, albeit off screen. As exec producer Carol Mendelsohn tells me, Sara will reveal in this week’s episode that she “just got back from visiting Grissom in Paris.” Mendelsohn adds that, “We have no plans for Billy to return at the moment, but the door’s always open.” [Source: EW]
