This CSI: NY episode sounds very cool! It sounds like someone with a grudge against the CSIs will try to trap them with a 911 call. And a hundred-year-old corpse? How bizarre! I can’t wait!

“Death House” – A frantic 911 call sends the CSIs into a vacant penthouse; however, instead of finding the caller, they unearth a nearly 100-year-old corpse and find themselves navigating their way through a booby-trapped house, on CSI: NY, Wednesday, Dec. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

ADAM: Executive producer Pam Veasey tells me that the creation of the Compass Killer arc was about highlighting the show’s storied location. “We have the great, great privilege of being the New York show, and we thought all of this information is really worthy of more than one episode. So we created the Compass Killer… someone who is fascinated with this information.” Case in point: One upcoming episode deals with Manhattanhenge, a phenomenon in which the sun aligns with the city’s street grid. CSI Trilogy: What Are Your Reactions?

Last night, we saw the third part of the all-CSI crossover trilogy. I was so excited to see Laurence Fishburne on all three CSI series, and I knew the story would be gripping. I was not disappointed about either. But I felt just a bit like the three parts were a bit too different. Is it just me?

I get it that the same group was taking girls and forcing them into prostitution and when they refused to cooperate they would dismember them and dump them. And I get it that the girls were being trafficked all across the nation by crazy truckers. And I get that pimps in Las Vegas were fighting over turf and would hijack each other’s girls. But it just seemed a bit like each of the series’ portions of the story were too disjointed from the others. Maybe that’s just me…?

I loved Langston getting to work with both Horatio and Mac. And I loved the idea of a series of crimes that moved from city to city. But it seemed to me like the M.O. of the crimes changed too drastically with each city.

I could be completely wrong about it. I would love to hear your input about the three episodes. Do you think they tied together smoothly enough? Did you think the differences in the crimes on each of the segments was necessary or clear enough? I would love to get your opinions and hear what other CSI fans have to say. CSI: NY – Melina Kanakaredes Rumor

First of all, I had not heard this rumor. I would have probably freaked out if I had in light of all the cast members who have left the other two CSI series in the past couple of seasons. I really like Melina Kanakaredes and hope she stays on CSI: NY until it completely ends.

That being said, here’s the latest rumor, and the truth:

Question: There’s a rumor going around that Melina Kanakaredes is getting killed off CSI: NY in the very near future. True? —Jess

Ausiello: False. My NY mole tells me that Melina will be around all season. [Source: EW]

CSI: NY – Stella Spoiler

Remember in the season 6 premiere of CSI: NY when Stella & Adam hooked up? It was a huge surprise to me, and to a lot of other fans of the show.

But now we find out that Stella has more romance in store for her this season. [Go, Stella!] Here’s a bit from the latest TV Guide Mega Buzz:

ADAM: Stella won’t go back to the well with Adam, executive producer Pam Veasey tells me, but you should look out for more moments of spontaneity from her. “She’s not going to limit herself,” Veasey says. “Her momentary enjoyable moment with Adam was one of those things.
