The CSI:Vegas and CSI:Miami websites weren’t included in the group. I wonder why?

csi-wetpaint-stats2

Have you visited the CSI wiki’s lately? As you can see from the stats above provided by the wiki creators, Wet Paint, there’s quite a bit of activity on the sites from the fan community.

csi-wetpaint-stats-070920

As you can see from the stats above, CSI is popular among the different wiki sites hat are setup by Wetpaint.

CSI:Vegas and CSI:Miami are #1 and #6 respectively for contributions and CSI:Vegas is #2 for Most Page Views. They’re only getting beaten by Big Brother 8 which just had their finale so of course they had some extra traffic because of all that drama.

Artistic CSI Fan Among Us

September 18, 2007 by Jason

I recently received an e-mail from Hedi Orvos asking me if I’d like to share some drawings she’s done of various CSI cast members with our readers. After seeing just one example of her work I knew there’d be no problem sharing with everyone.

As an art minor myself in college, I can tell you creating that kind of art with what appears to be charcoal and pencil is pretty stinking challenging in my opinion.

Two of the sites we link to and reference regularly are the CSI wiki’s that have been produced by Wetpaint and CBS. They are striving fan communities for the CSI: Vegas and CSI:Miami.

Now they’ve finally closed out the series loop and have launched their CSI:NY Wiki available here.

CSI Fan From Across the Pond Admits Addiction

September 1, 2007 by Jason

Vicky Frost, a writer at the Gaurdian Unlimited admits she’s addicted to CSI. Which I guess seems pretty odd to people over there.

Not that I normally bandy this kind of information about. Having a CSI obsession is not, after all, the same as being really into, say, Life on Mars or Heroes. It’s like getting really, really into a souped-up version of The Bill, with additional spraying and cotton buds. But it’s the small things that count: Sunhill’s finest never stride around sending things to “Trace”, or reach for the UV light or, even better, the Z-nose. Even the fact that all three CSI series rely on exactly the same formula - enigmatic guy leading the lab, beautiful but formidable woman second-in-command, young and gorgeous CSIs bringing up the rear, and cynical male detective on the side - is not enough to break its spell. Not even David Caruso’s. Quite. Ridiculous. Speech patterns. Can detract from its faux-scientific appeal.

Glad to see the fanatic trend is spreading far and wide across the globe. She even shares my opinions of David Caruso’s Horatio.

The challenge though is that she mentioned another show and barely said anything about it, but it piqued my interest in seeing it. Something called Spooks about a British spy in Prada? After jumping with her link to the Wikipedia entry about the show, it says that our own “House, M.D.”, Hugh Laurie makes appearances as well. What could be better!

CSI Has Great Rankings on Wetpaint Site

August 2, 2007 by Jason

wetpaint-csi-wiki One of the sites we link to on CSI:Fanatic is the CSI Wiki and CSI: Miami Wiki that’s published with the power of Wetpaint.

They’re running behind Big Brother 8, which I just don’t get. That’s one reality TV show that has just never grabbed my attention like the others.

Now for Page Views, they’re running behind Big Brother 8 and Pirate Master. I’ve really gotten into Pirate Master, I’ll be catching up on that episode later this evening.

As you can see from the graphic to the left, it’s one of the most popular sites they’re running over there.

It’s loaded with great information and features for CSI:Fanatics like yourself.

The CSI Wiki has sections for “Behind the Scenes”, the cast, episode guides, loads of pictures, videos created by fans, contests, and large topics of discussion like “The Miniature Killer” and “Relationships” on the show.
