CSI: Vegas - Episode 9.20 - A Space Oddity

Someone would have to have no sense of humor at all not to like this trailer for Thursday’s episode of CSI: Vegas. It’s the one where the writers and the guest stars are from Battlestar Gallactica. Originally, this episode was to be called To Boldly Go… but now we see that the title has changed to A Space Oddity.

Lab rats Wendy and Hodges run into each other at a scifi convention. And if you’ve never had the pleasure of going to one, they are a lot of fun, even for a non-scifi fan like me. People walk around in full Klingon costumes and other amazing outfits, all while playing the parts of their favorite scifi characters, and so much more… And in this clip, we see Hodges’ very active imagination take over at times and it looks like he is romantically interested in Wendy. (Who wouldn’t be? She’s smart and pretty!) And when they get a murder case from the convention, the team and the lab rats have to wade through reality and fantasy to solve the crime.

Fans of the original Star Trek, be sure to notice David Berman’s parody of Scotty when he replies to the request to close the cadaver back up!! LOL!

…a crime scene-decorated cake, that is!

Check out these fun photos of the cast & crew of CSI: Vegas when they celebrated their 200th episode yesterday on the lot at Universal Studios. The cake is hilarious! It’s a crime scene, complete with a chalk-body marking, crime scene tape and a magnifying glass. I love it!! It’s absolutely the most appropriate cake for the occasion.

And it looks like everyone except Gary Dourdan & Jorja Fox were there to celebrate too. Check out the photo with Laurence Fishburne, William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Paul Guilfoyle, Liz Vassey, George Eads, Eric Szmana, Lauren Lee Smith, Archie Kao, David Berman & Robert David Hall.

On Tuesday, William Petersen, aka Gil Grissom was honored with his own star on the Walk of Fame. For those of you who want to see it, it’s located in front of Musso’s & Franks Restaurant in Los Angeles.

And nearly all of his fellow CSI: Vegas co-stars were there to celebrate the occasion with him. I don’t see Lauren Lee Smith, Wallace Langham, Paul Guilfoyle or Gary Dourdan, But Robert David Hall, David Berman, Liz Vassey, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Marg Helgenberger and Archie Kao all were there.

Here are some cute photos of them at the event, including one where Petersen dusted the star for fingerprints! LOL!

In this week’s season premiere of CSI: Vegas, the episode ended with a very emotional tribute to Warrick Brown…at his funeral. In this clip, we get to see a montage of scenes with Warrick and the tear-jerking eulogy delivered by Gil Grissom…

I just can’t resist posting this funny clip from one of last season’s cases on CSI: Vegas. This scene, starring Liz Vassey & Wallace Lanham involves testing tampons to find the one that could successfully be used to administer vodka to a woman. The dialog is hilarious and the situation is so funny in its absurdity. Enjoy:
