The season 10 premiere of CSI: Vegas began with an amazing…I mean AMAZING 3-D look through the entire lab and lot outside where a huge incident was taking place. We see shards of glass and blood droplets in mid air, along with bullets frozen in their trajectories. Someone would have to have no sense of humor at all not to like this trailer for Thursday’s episode of CSI: Vegas. It’s the one where the writers and the guest stars are from Battlestar Gallactica. Originally, this episode was to be called To Boldly Go… but now we see that the title has changed to A Space Oddity.

Check out these fun photos of the cast & crew of CSI: Vegas when they celebrated their 200th episode yesterday on the lot at Universal Studios. The cake is hilarious! It’s a crime scene, complete with a chalk-body marking, crime scene tape and a magnifying glass. I love it!! It’s absolutely the most appropriate cake for the occasion.

On Tuesday, William Petersen, aka Gil Grissom was honored with his own star on the Walk of Fame. For those of you who want to see it, it’s located in front of Musso’s & Franks Restaurant in Los Angeles.
And nearly all of his fellow CSI: Vegas co-stars were there to celebrate the occasion with him. I don’t see Lauren Lee Smith, Wallace Langham, Paul Guilfoyle or Gary Dourdan, But Robert David Hall, David Berman, Liz Vassey, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Marg Helgenberger and Archie Kao all were there.

And there are a lot of celebrities getting involved, and one of them is CSI: Vegas lab rat Liz Vassey. It’s a very serious subject, but why not let people have fun while supporting the cause?

I just can’t resist posting this funny clip from one of last season’s cases on CSI: Vegas. This scene, starring Liz Vassey & Wallace Lanham involves testing tampons to find the one that could successfully be used to administer vodka to a woman. The dialog is hilarious and the situation is so funny in its absurdity. Enjoy:
