Today, the nominations for the 41st NAACP Image Awards were announced and the CSI series all had notable nominations to boast.
The awards celebrate outstanding work by people of color in a number of different entertainment categories. We won’t know the winners until the show airs on FOX on Friday February 6, 2010. I’ll let you know more as the air date approaches.
CSI: Miami actor Adam Rodriguez, CSI: Vegas actor Laurence Fishburne and CSI: NY actor Hill Harper were among the nominations this year. One of the wonderful CSI: Vegas directors, Paris Barclay was honored with a nomination too.

Episode 6.06: It Happened to Me

This is a preview clip for this week’s episode of CSI: NY. In this one, it looks like Hawkes is going to have a mystery to solve involving a person he treated during his volunteer time.
This clip gives some of the info about the case, but not enough to let us in on much. But since I’m such a fan of Hill Harper, this is one episode that I’m especially looking forward to.

This week, CBS held their huge Summer Press Tour Party. There were tons of stars at the event, including some from CSI: NY. Here are photos that were taken of Hill Harper, who plays Dr. Sheldon Hawkes; Robert Joy, who plays Dr. Sid Hammerback and A.J. Buckley, who plays Adam Ross on the show. Hill Harper is always busy. He’s a very interesting man in that he’s personal friends with President Obama and he’s written two books that made the bestseller lists. But he’s also always working in the film industry between shooting CSI: NY too. (Not to mention the fact that he’s incredibly good-looking…the man has and does it all!)
