CSI: NY Spoilers!

Episode 5.20 - Prey
Air Date: April 8, 2009

Tomorrow night’s episode of CSI: NY will begin with a killer taking a picture of the man that was killed and emailing it to the police. Not exactly a smart thing to do, don’t you think?

There’s also going to be a very hot scene between Flack and Angell. It’s all in this spoiler clip from the beginning of tomorrow’s episode, Prey. Check it out:

CSI: NY Another New Cast Regular?

October 26, 2008 by Lynn

Emmanuelle VaugierMatt Mitovich from TV Guide gives us this little tidbit of info about a possible new cast regular, Emmanuelle Vaugier.

Are there any plans to make Emmanuelle Vaugier a regular cast member of CSI: NY? — Eric

Matt: “It’s certainly possible.” And that’s not just my love for Saw II talking, it’s a quote from NY’s exec producer. “We all love Emmanuelle and what she’s done with her character Det. Angell,” says Peter Lenkov. “Right now she’s scheduled to appear in several upcoming episodes, and let’s just say the chemistry between her and Det. Flack is not ignored.”

Hmmm… I’ve wondered why Flack hasn’t had many love interests on the show in spite of how incredibly good-looking he is. And what about Sheldon Hawkes? The man is gorgeous…and smart! Why no love interests for him on the show?

CSI: NY Spoilers!

Tonight we will see the CSI: NY episode 5.04: Sex, Lies & Silicone. And to get us ready for it, CBS just released these two spoiler clips. In this one, Mac gets into a budget disagreement with the chief. (How many of us have had a similar discussion with our bosses?) Then he tries to get the chief to explain his connection with the murder victim Mac and the team is investigating.

And in this clip, Mac, Danny and Flack show up to investigate a victim during a strange celebration called a “renegade street party.”

Here’s a fun little clip of Melina Kanakaredes and Eddie Cahill on set in downtown Los Angeles for an episode of CSI: NY. Melina waves to the camera a couple of times and Eddie looks as if he’s getting into character a bit. I think it’s interesting to see the equipment that’s been set up to catch the shots.

CSI: NY - 5.02 “Page Turner” Recap

October 2, 2008 by Lynn

CSI: NY - Episode 5.02: Page Turner
Original Air Date: September 24, 2008

At the Maroon 5 concert in the park, a fight in the excited crowd becomes a small riot. The police use soft rounds to take down the fighters. Eliza Carpenter, a college student fleeing the action, collapses and dies, right in front of a city bus. She appears to have suffered a blow to the trachea, probably from a stray riot control soft round. The woman has a lot of face and body paint.

Listening to Mac and Stella assess what might have killed Carpenter, Don seems disturbed that the police may end up taking the blame. They were just doing their job.

Sid, examining the victim’s body, discovers signs of radiation poisoning, marks on her skin beneath the paint, and hair loss. Measuring high levels of radiation on the body, he shuts down the exam room. It isn’t airborne, though, likely transdermal…from the paint. Though Mac and Stella weren’t likely exposed enough to worry, Sid collapses. The CDC rushes in to contain the body and Sid.

Adam matches the writing…shriiimping…on the victim to the graffiti of Kenneth Bamford, aka KA-BLAM. Stella and Danny visit KA-BLAM. They find no signs of radiation, and ask him about his contact with the victim. He remembers her, but not that she complained of any discomfort or pain.

CSI: NY - It All Starts With a Riot at a Maroon 5 Concert

October 1, 2008 by Lynn

CBS released a last-minute spoiler video for tonight’s CSI: NY episode. This looks like the beginning of the show where a riot breaks out at an outdoor Maroon 5 concert. Then a woman dies when she is hit by a bus. It’s a cool clip (but I wish there was a touch more of Maroon 5 in it…) ;-)

CSI: NY Recap - 5.01 “Veritas” Recap

CSI: NY Recap - 5.01 Veritas

Episode 5.01: Veritas
Original Air Date: September 24, 2008

Stella is in one of the choppers, as the force searches for Mac and “Joe”, his kidnapper. She receives a call with a tip that the car may be near or on the George Washington Bridge (GWB), headed for Fort Lee, NJ. Mac, however, pops up, on screen, in the river. He makes his way to the bank, and into the brush in the Jersey City side. He flags down a car, and borrows the scared driver’s phone to call Stella.

Divers pull a body from the Hudson. It’s Derek James, the suspect in the shooting of the bank manager and his wife, not “Joe”.

They believe “Joe” is at large, but New Jersey police will only allow them to take crime scene photos. They won’t release the body or the vehicle, or agree to a joint investigation. Stella takes photos, including those of a yellow flower barette in the back seat, bullet holes in the front passenger window, red paint on the bumper; as well as 3D images of tire tracks around the scene. Adam goes to work on the data.
