CSI: NY Finale Preview

We’re heading toward the season finale of all three of the CSI series, but luckily, CBS just released this little preview clip for the finale of CSI: NY. In it, we see a glimpse of the case they’ll be working on and then the clip goes on to let us see that Lindsay will be preparing to have the baby.
First, in the lab, her water breaks, then at the hospital, she is worried that she won’t be a good mother. I love whole scenario she paints of how awful she could be as a parent…sounds like pretty normal pre-birth fear to me.
CSI: NY - Anna Belknap Birth News

Finally! We get some scoop about Anna Belknap’s brand new baby. Michael Ausiello at EW tells us that, and a bit of spoiler about the upcoming death on CSI: NY in the season finale. I’m still a bit confused about the finale scoop, but very happy for Anna.
Spoiler:
Question: Any scoop on who is going to die on CSI: NY? Is it someone shown in the opening credits? — Carissa
Ausiello: Yes. And as exec producer Pam Veasey reveals, in addition to the death “something happens to someone else. There will be a life-changing experience for another character.” Veasey declined to say whether that something was good or bad, although she did offer what could be a clue: “We really want to have a hopeful and heroic start to next season. It’ll be really positive, fun, and spirited.”
Question: I’m happy Lindsay’s returning to CSI: NY next month, but do we know for a fact Anna Belknap ever gave birth? I searched high and low on the Interwebs but I can’t find any info about it. –Claire
Ausiello: That’s probably because there’s no info to be found — until now! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Anna gave birth to her second child, son George, on Feb. 6. (You’re welcome, Google.) [Source: EW]
CSI: NY - Lindsay Update

We know that on CSI: NY, Lindsay left New York to go spend time with her family in Montana before her baby is born. In real life, Anna Belknap left show production to give birth to her own baby.
Michael Ausiello over at EW Online gives us the scoop about when we’ll see Lindsay back on the show. Poor thing! She has to go through yet another labor & delivery…only this time it’s just for the character.
Spoiler:
Question: Please take pity on us CSI: NY fans and tell us when on earth Lindsay is coming home from Montana. We miss her! — Laurzz
Ausiello: She’s back in the Big Apple on April 29, but we won’t actually see her until May 6 when Anna Belknap officially returns from maternity leave and promptly delivers another baby. “Lindsay pops right back into work and, before you know it, she’s in labor,” exec producer Pam Veasey says with a laugh. “You see her for a second and her water breaks. We couldn’t do anything else but bring her back and let her give birth.” Danny, of course, is at Lindsay’s side for the main event and, like any new parents, “they’re overwhelmed by it,” says Veasey. The big question: What do they have? “It’s a girl,” she reveals. “I won’t tell you the name because we don’t know if the audience will respond to it.” [Source: Ask Ausiello]
Danny & Lindsay: The Unaired First Kiss
March 1, 2009 by Lynn
Not to be outdone in the romance department, CSI: NY has its own romantic couple we all love to watch. Here’s the unaired, but really nice first kiss between Danny & Lindsay. I don’t know why they cut this out and it never got aired, but it’s completely worth watching:
CSI: NY’s Danny & Lindsay - A Tribute
Many thanks to TV Fan for the tip about this very cool clip! This one is all for the CSI: NY Danny & Lindsay fans. It’s a montage of scenes of them from the episode where they met over a dead tiger at the zoo, to the courtroom in Montana when Danny flew there to be supportive of her…all the way to where they are today. It’s cute and romantic and I hope you enjoy it!
CSI: NY - Ausiello Gives us a Great Spoiler!

If you are a fan of Danny/Lindsay on CSI: NY, here’s the spoiler you’ve been waiting to see:
Spoiler:
Question: There’s an official law in the NYPD that married couples are forbidden from working together. Someone in the couple has to transfer to another department/precinct. So, if Danny and Lindsay are getting married on CSI: NY, how are they going to work together at all if they’re breaking an official law? Does this mean one of them is going to leave the lab for good? — K.C.
Ausiello: You may want to double-check your facts, KC. While it’s true that such a rule existed at one time, it has since been dropped, according to CSI: NY executive producer Pam Veasey. “Our former NYPD Detective John Dove, based on his own experiences and confirming with The Chief’s office, says there is no department law that two detectives can’t work in the same department and be married. This was our belief when we started this story.” Is it just me or did Ms. Veasey just confirm that Danny and Lindsay will eventually tie the knot?

CSI: NY - 5.02 “Page Turner” Recap

CSI: NY - Episode 5.02: Page Turner
Original Air Date: September 24, 2008
At the Maroon 5 concert in the park, a fight in the excited crowd becomes a small riot. The police use soft rounds to take down the fighters. Eliza Carpenter, a college student fleeing the action, collapses and dies, right in front of a city bus. She appears to have suffered a blow to the trachea, probably from a stray riot control soft round. The woman has a lot of face and body paint.
Listening to Mac and Stella assess what might have killed Carpenter, Don seems disturbed that the police may end up taking the blame. They were just doing their job.
Sid, examining the victim’s body, discovers signs of radiation poisoning, marks on her skin beneath the paint, and hair loss. Measuring high levels of radiation on the body, he shuts down the exam room. It isn’t airborne, though, likely transdermal…from the paint. Though Mac and Stella weren’t likely exposed enough to worry, Sid collapses. The CDC rushes in to contain the body and Sid.
Adam matches the writing…shriiimping…on the victim to the graffiti of Kenneth Bamford, aka KA-BLAM. Stella and Danny visit KA-BLAM. They find no signs of radiation, and ask him about his contact with the victim. He remembers her, but not that she complained of any discomfort or pain.

CSI: NY Recap - 5.01 “Veritas” Recap
September 25, 2008 by Lynn

Episode 5.01: Veritas
Original Air Date: September 24, 2008
Stella is in one of the choppers, as the force searches for Mac and “Joe”, his kidnapper. She receives a call with a tip that the car may be near or on the George Washington Bridge (GWB), headed for Fort Lee, NJ. Mac, however, pops up, on screen, in the river. He makes his way to the bank, and into the brush in the Jersey City side. He flags down a car, and borrows the scared driver’s phone to call Stella.
Divers pull a body from the Hudson. It’s Derek James, the suspect in the shooting of the bank manager and his wife, not “Joe”.
They believe “Joe” is at large, but New Jersey police will only allow them to take crime scene photos. They won’t release the body or the vehicle, or agree to a joint investigation. Stella takes photos, including those of a yellow flower barette in the back seat, bullet holes in the front passenger window, red paint on the bumper; as well as 3D images of tire tracks around the scene. Adam goes to work on the data.
