CSI: Miami hunk Adam Rodriguez has been busy outside of the show filming several new movies that are all scheduled to be released later this year. That’s amazingly wonderful news for those of us who are fans of his. Here’s the detail about the new films:

A Kiss of Chaos sounds great!! It’s described as:

A Latino thriller wherein an emotionally conflicted artist’s life is dragged into a vortex of chaos. Sounds great!!

Caught in the Crossfire looks like it will be very intense too with this description:

Two detectives investigating a gang-related find themselves targeted by both gang members and crooked cops.

I Can Do Bad All by Myself looks like a really fun flick! Adam will take on Madea in Tyler Perry’s latest comedy. Here’s a synopsys:

When Madea catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April. A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April’s basement room. Making amends for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart. And April soon realizes she must make the biggest choice of her life: between her old ways with Raymond and the new possibilities of family, faith … and even true love.

And finally, Let the Game Begin is billed as a comedy/drama that will show Adam doing what I’m certain actually is a talent of his:

Tripp is an average frustrated chump, who comes up with a golden idea. He partners with Gary, a Wall Street wheeler and dealer, and brings his cousin, Rowan, on-board to help with his business. As Tripp and Rowan journey together for business, Tripp learns about Rowan’s extraordinary skills- skills in attracting women. The duo realizes that business and relationships today have a lot in common. Tripp learns Rowan’s game and begins closing on business deals. But the problem is, Tripp is married. As the business grows to be worth millions, Tripp realizes that there are many players around him who want a piece of the gold. He must decide to either fight for the gold, or find love, with his new found knowledge of the game.

Are you like me and already wondering what’s in store for CSI: Miami fans in season 8? Well, luckily, there’s a bit of a spoiler to be had on this. We do know that Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) will survive the cliffhanger, because he’s back fro the next season. Whew! At least we know that much…now if we could just lean more about who will return for season 6 of CSI: NY.

Here’s also a quick update for fans of Rory Cochrane, who played Speedle on CSI: Miami.

Ausiello: Sources confirm that Adam Rodriguez will be back next season, so, yeah, I think it’s safe to say Delko survives. Meanwhile, we caught up with Rodriguez’s former costar, Rory Cochrane, at the premiere of his new film, Public Enemies, and asked him whether another Speedle cameo was in his future. His answer was, um, interesting. “I can’t really talk about it,” he said. “They talked to me about something that I cannot get into details about… I did come back once as a figment of Delko’s imagination, but I am pretty sure that is it for me on that show. I told them not to kill me but they didn’t take my advice.” [Source: EW]

Now that the filming for CSI: Miami’s 7th season has wrapped, the cast members have a lot more free time to do what they want to do. Adam Rodriguez, who plays CSI Eric Delko, recently attended a charity event to help children with cancer. First of all, I love the fact that he’s spending time doing things for others, but also, doesn’t he look fantastic in this photo?

The event he attended was The Rally for Kids With Cancer Benefit at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

Episode 7.23 - Collateral Damage
Air Date: May 4, 2009

Here’s a sneak peek at tonight’s episode of CSI: Miami. In this one, Wolfe & Delko interrogate a really slimy weasel of a guy about his involvement with some hand grenades and two people’s deaths. We know from the previews that one of the grenades blows up in the lab. Here, Wolfe mentions that when he talks to the suspect about almost killing three other people, one of them being him. Check it out:

This is a totally cute clip where we get to see behind the scenes of The Kiss between Calleigh & Delko (FINALLY!!) on CSI: Miami.

First we see them both talking about getting ready to kiss on screen for the first time. Adam Rodriguez was chewing gum to get his breath right. They both commented on the fact that the other has nice lips. And Emily Procter jokingly says that they’ve been secretly making out in private for years.

It’s so fun and really lets us see how well they get along as co-stars on the show too. I think you’ll enjoy this clip:

Episode 7.14 - Smoke Gets In Your CSIs
Air Date: February 2, 2009

Here’s the promo clip for tonight’s episode of CSI: Miami, Smoke Gets in Your CSIs. Calleigh will be hurt and in the hospital unconscious while Eric sits with her and wants to tell her how he really feels about her. This one will hopefully be the episode where they realize their feelings for each other. (It’s about time!)
