The idea was interesting eventhough i don't usually watch CSI miami (sorry Horatio but U'r gettin' on my nerves lol)...
Maybe that's why i think the miami part was the weakest of the 3, i've found it really too slow nearly annoying.
The NY part was really great, good rythm and an entire team at work . OK, I have a thing for Gary Sinise, but honnestly Mac is THE MAN ...(agree with problem that Ray don't seem experienced enough).
The Vegas part was interesting but really too different .
For now i'm waiting for the end of the compass killer arc in CSI NY , a way better story than the crossover IMO...
ps: sorry for my poor grammary as we say in my country "I speak english as a spanish cow".

i haven't seen the trilogy episode yet in the UK but i can not wait for it to come to light, i really enjoy hortachio interacting with the other csi leaders and hope it will be a interesting show, personally i wish they had done a trilogy show with grissom rather than langston. Bye! :)

I really enjoyed it. I don't watch CSI:Miami because I don't like it but to my surprise I really enjoyed it. At first I was against a 3 way cross over, I thought it was a bad idea and would not work but I was wrong. It was a well written and interesting story.

I agree about the biggest problem being Ray not being senior enough to be the expert called in. It's really irking many Vegas fans that in the past Grissom held back Nick, who was a level 3, in the early days, and yet Ray's operating as if he's head of the lab.

Then there was the slap in the face of having Horatio express condolences to Ray about Warrick's murder. Forget the fact that the appropriate characters to get those condolences -- directly -- would have been Catherine and Nick.

I found them a bit of a downer, started out strong, but somehow stalled, not sure how, but it happened. I love all 3 shows for being diverse

I actually dislike the multi-series cliffhanger thing; seems like an artificial way to raise ratings for shows that are struggling, sometimes.

Overall I like the trilogy; but I have two problems with the shows.

1) The ways they shot some of the lab scenes on CSI:Miami fading in and out, strobe effect on some and the weird camera angles. It was hard to watch sometimes.

2) The fact that it was only Ray who went from Vegas to Miami to New York. I though Catherine and/or Nick should have also gone with him since they are senior to him.
