CSI: Miami – Season 8 Premiere Spoiler

It’s a good thing we know that Adam Rodriguez is going to be back in season 8 of CSI: Miami, or this would be a pretty big shock.
It looks in this spoiler from Michael Ausiello that CSI: Miami’s season 8 premiere will involve Delko in a coma and having visions of the days when the team first started working together. (Let’s just hope they don’t all break into song and dance, like the comatose visions last week on Rescue Me…PLEASE!)
Sources confirm that CSI: Miami is planning to kick off its eighth season with a circa ‘97 origin episode that will show the early days of the team. It’s my understanding that the episode will be told from the point of view of a comatose Delko (Adam Rodriguez), who flashes back to his first murder case with the Miami-Dade PD. Delko, of course, was critically wounded in the season finale. [Source: EW]
Is the entire show to be circa 1997? Are we to assume there will be no Natalia or Ryan or will they be worked in for a few seconds?
This should be interesting….I wonder how Cal feels since she put him there? Will this affect their relationship?

I’m assuming that all the newer cast members will still be in it, just on the outside of Erics mind watching to make sure he recovers. Calliegh will for sure be going crazy realizing that she put Eric in the coma.. I think yes the relationship will last cuz whats the point of even starting it if they kill it off only after what like 5 episodes.. I hope he wakes in the end of this episode also cuz I do not want him in the hospital.. And what I am wondering is will Speedle, Meghan, and Alex come back for this one episode whereas it is a ‘flashback’ I hope so I miss them!

I can’t wait!!! I think this will make Calleigh and Eric’s relationship stronger. Maybe he’ll get over his family issues and she’ll let go of her
touch-me-not attitude for good! Oh, can’t wait until September 21st!!!
I am such a fan and I know as a fact that all of the cast from season 7 will be returning. ( got this info from a wiki site ) I love eric soooooo much and I WILL SERIOUSLY cry if ever they break up or something happens to him…

Unfortunately, Delko will be back on a limited basis according to more recent reports. He’s been very bz behind the scenes making movies!! About 4 so far…
hmmm this is good the whole 1997 thing maybe some guest stars will be in it like alexx and speed yelina all of them should be in it. no natailia,ryan,or frank though
I’m sure Eric will be back, they wouldn’t do that to us… would they? That would like murdering the show and then Horatio would have to solve it.
I think Calleigh did put him in the coma, but he’ll live and they’ll work through their problems.
If one more CSI does I swear I will throw something at the TV. First Angell on CSI NY now Eric!? I can’t stand this….
