CSI: NY Cliffhanger – Theory #1

I’m not totally sure this is a spoiler, but thought I’d play it safe, just in case. Michael Ausiello of EW gives us this about CSI: NY’s season end cliff hanger. Between you and me, I am in doubt that Gary Sinise is considering leaving the show any time soon, but no mater what info is leaked, I’ll report it here.
Question: What is your take on CSI:NY pulling a Dynasty and having all of the main cast potentially gunned down in a hail of automatic weapons fire (fade to black) cliffhanger? –Eric
Ausiello: My take is that if Gary Sinise doesn’t accept CBS’ salary freeze proposal, Det. Jessica Angell won’t be the only supporting character headed six feet under.
if Gary Sinise leaves, I will stop watching CSI: NY!
I don’t think he was impling Gary would leave, but moreso implying if Gary didn’t take the paycut that they’d fire another cast member so they could pay Gary his full salary.
But of all the things we have learned about Gary Sinise, he seems like a really stand up guy, so I doubt he’d screw over the rest of the cast like that.
Gary’s fine. He’s not going anywhere. I read an article in the National Ledger that Gary said he’s not leaving and that he’s excited to start production of Season 6.
