Laurence Fishburne at the Golden Globes

Last night, CSI:Vegas‘ newset cast member, Laurence Fishburne, was one of the presenters at the Golden Globe Awards. He looked very handsome and polished at the event…and who knew how beautiful his wife was? WOW!

His wife, Gina Torres, was on CSI once. She played a Warden at a Ladies; one of her prisoner’s was murdered and tied to the bottom of the prison bus. Turned out the victim was pregant by a guard and her cell mate lover killed her. Ms Torres played her character as a stone cold effient buracrat and did a great job of it. Maybe CSI could have her back on and have her work with Doc Ray.
She’s been on a lot of things: Angel, Bones, Firefly, Alias, 24. She’s very good, and very underrated.
Here in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lawrence Fishburne is not doing the show any favors by repeatedly mispronouncing our state’s name. That would not happen in real life without others around him correcting his error.
It is pronounced neh-VAD-uh (’a’ as in dad).
