As we get ready to say goodbye to one of the main characters on CSI: Vegas, here’s a photo album, of sorts, of some of the more memorable moments of his time on the show.
Premiere Episode: October 6, 2000
William Petersen stars as senior forensics officer Gil Grissom on CSI, a new fast-paced drama about a passionate team of forensic investigators trained to solve crimes the old-fashioned way - by examining the evidence.

Burden of Proof: February 2, 2002 - Season 2
Grissom doing what he does best - examining a specimen from a body found in the Las Vegas Anthropology Department, meanwhile during the same episode, members of Grissom’s team question his leadership abilities.

Felonius Monk: March 7, 2002 - Season 2
Grissom along with Sara (Jorja Fox) and Nick (George Eads), investigates the murders of four monks who were shot point-blank while chanting in a Buddhist temple.

The Hunger Artist: May 18, 2002 - Season 2 Finale
Grissom & Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) investigate the death of a famous model who is found dead with her face mutilated, and the leading suspect is her sister who is now homeless and living on the streets of Vegas. Meanwhile, Grissom reveals that he is slowly going deaf.

Abra Cadaver: October 31, 2002 - Season 3
Grissom investigates the case of a woman who has vanished while taking part in a magician’s act - The Amazing Zephyr’s “Chamber of Doom”. The illusionist thrusts swords through the box, when it’s opened she’s gone - with only traces of her blood left.

Got Murder: January 16, 2003 - Season 3
Grissom, along with Catherine (Marg Helgenberger), works a crime scene backward, starting with the gruesome discovery of a human eyeball in a raven’s nest, which leads them to a wife who had formerly been missing but turns out has actually been murdered.

Lady Heathers Box: February 13, 2003 - Season 3
Grissom’s case reunites him with his favorite dominatrix, Lady Heather (guest star Melinda Clark), after the CSI team connects the murder of two male escorts to her on a special 90 minute episode.
