Michael Ausiello at EW.com gives us this info about the future of Danny & Lindsay’s relationship on CSI: NY.

Ausiello: Rikki’s returning, so you tell me. Actually, I’ll let NY EP Pam Veasey tell us all. “It’s going to be a little rocky for them this season,” she reveals. “A lot of things are going to happen with Danny that don’t involve Lindsay, but she’s going to come to the rescue and still be a part of that relationship.” Hmm… perhaps those pregnancy rumors are true? Veasey’s not saying, but this much she does divulge: Danny won’t be the only man in Lindsay’s life. “She’ll have eyes for someone else,” she teases of the yet-to-be-cast role. “He’ll recur for several episodes and, of course, he’ll be very attractive.” Yikes, it’s a throng of D/L fans! They’re coming at me — and they’re carrying pitchforks! Gotta run!
Hmmm… Lindsay is interested in someone else. That wasn’t what I expected at all. I wonder if they will manage to weather the upcoming storms.
I like to think that the men that well be in her live that she is gonna have eyes for is a little baby boy, a danny junior.
the new csi ny season is gonna be rocky? what the hell do you think this season was for them? a sea of roses?

Actually I think a new guy for Lindsey would be good for now…..it will wake danny up if he had a little bit of competition.
yeah totally agree nita2212… maybe lindsay having the hots for anotha guy will wake danny up…wonder why rikki’s coming back though she did say that she would be leaving at the end of series 4
i totally agree with you guys..i think have a new man for now(just for now) will make danny come up to his sense, don’t you think….i just hate rikki returning in the screen…just sayin though!!!

and if you think right at least in my POV Anna’s pregnancy kind of ‘rescued’ the show because I know that there are many people that would stop watching it or don’t be willing to see it because of dl were apart but everything is gonna be alright I just hope that danny doesn’t get freak out and do something stupid but deep down he is a good man.

what makes me nervous is that it’s not specified that the pregnancy is gonna be for lindsay. What if rikki was pregnant? That would suck. I would cry.
Yeh, Rikki being pregnant would suck! But once they’ve had the baby (D/L) it would good to see the outcome if they made Rikki come back to see how they all react! I sometimes love a bit of angst.
