Ausiello, that famous spoiler at EW, has scooped the exclusive source about the new Khandi Alexander replacement for CSI: Miami. Megalyn Echikunwoke (The 4400, 24) will play the new coroner on the show.
I know, we’re going to need an audible on her name. I’m on it.
Any 24 or The 4400 fans want to chime in with thoughts on Echikunwoke?

Looking forward to seeing Megalyn take on this new role. It’ll be very different from the work she did on “The 4400″, and I like that she keeps challenging herself with new things.
I’ve recently taken to watching CSI: Miami reruns just to get a feel for the show (never seen it before, sorry!) and Khandi’s role of the medical examiner was a very cool one. I hope Megalyn gets a chance to work with her on the show if she’s making a reappearance in the new season.
