CSI Repeats vs. Unscripted Summer Shows June 23 Through June 29

Monday nights CSI: Miami repeat had 8.17 million viewers and a 2.2 rating/6 share in the 18-49 demographic, to take the number one spot.
Wednesday’s CSI: New York came in first in the general ratings for its timeslot, but not in the illustrious 18-49 demographic. It drew 7.67 million viewers, beating out the premiere of Primetime: Crime with 6.77 million and Celebrity Circus with 5.67 million viewers. In the coveted 18-49 year old demographic, though, CSI: NY (1.7 million/5 share) fell behind Celebrity Circus’ 2.0 million and a 6 share, as well as Primetime: Crime with 1.8 million viewers and a 5 share.
The Thursday night repeat of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation came in second place with 7.24 million viewers, behind the timeslot’s So You Think You Can Dance and its 8.56 million viewers.

FYI, the 1.7/6 for CSI: NY in the 18-49 demo does not mean 1.7 million viewers. It means that 1.7% of all people 18-49 in the US were watching the show (based on a sample, of course). 1.0 in the demo equals approx. 1.3 million viewers 18-49.
