Horatio Caine is Dead?!?

If you watched in horror last night’s CSI: Miami season finale, Going Ballistic, you’re probably wondering what will become of the show, Horatio Caine, Wolfe, Kyle, Julia, and Ron Saris, Horatio’s long-time nemesis. Fortunately, CBS video features Emily Proctor, and David Caruso, talking about season 6, and the making Going Ballistic, and includes some frank discussion of what’s going on with Horatio, Wolfe, and Saris.
This season took Horatio to some dark places. This episode showed an ending putting Wolfe in a very dark place. If you’re upset at the developments at the end of the season 6 finale of CSI: Miami, you’ll want to hear what they have to say, especially, David Caruso.
@Cynthia: The list of possibilities is boggling. I’m excited to watch and see what happens, this week.
@chris –et alia: That is what the spoilers, including the cast seem to imply –more than imply. The mystery, I believe, is who was involved, how many others knew about it, was he trying to smoke anyone else out, how long had he planned this? That’s a long “single” mystery, I know.

Eh, rather he can act or not doesn’t matter. To me I’m only interested in the stories characters not the people who play them.

“Yes i agree he isn’t dead,but how does Ryan fit in on Horatio’s shooting? he is a rat,how could he be part of this. well i hope i am wrong about Ryan. What about H’s son? The finale ended where he had a gun. i guess we just have to wait and see.”

Well as far as Ryan goes, like I stated before he would be the last person that anyone would imagine would be on H’s side. Eric and the rest are the obvious choices, so if anyone else were to hear the news from them chances are they’d think H is fine. So he picked the one person who’s status there is already sketchy to the point where no one would believe a word he said because you wouldn’t know if it’s true or if he is getting a gain out of it. Wolfe is the last the kind of guy that you would typically expect to help out H as he has gone between being a rat, to an ally and back again so much in the series. So in a weird way this was a plan to help H and reinstate his status with his friends. Now if he keeps it up and doesn’t mess up here and there then chances are Wolfe will be a “good guy” again.
I was kinda dissapointed by the way the episode went out, it seemed out the H’s plan was revieled so early on in the show. Also I thought he was trying to not only get the bad guy but bring down Elizabeth Burkley’s character as well. Oh well at least we’ll leave it at an exploding boat I guess. I suppose if I watch a repeat of it a couple more times I’ll like it. I mean when I first watched the beginning of Season 5, when Eric and Horatio went to Rio in order to avenge Marisol, I hated that episode and thought it was awful. But after seeing a couple of repeats of the episode it’s now one of my favorites. So I suppose it’s all the in the time you take to watch it I guess. My mother was a little confused about what was going on, to be honest I was as well. So time will tell if I like it or not.
is horatio really dead and who shot him because i missed the first eiposode.
We all wish he had died but unfortunately his dismal acting will still be on CSI Miami.
Horatio is moving to CSI: Memphis next fall.
When I heard we died I was excited! I thought here’s my chance to start watching CSI Miami again.. the over acting is gone..
disappointed he didn’t die.. I guess I can’t start watching CSI Miami yet.

Horatio better not be dead! I think he staged it too. Glad he aint dead. I would so cry I’d be so damn sad:( I absoulutly love him. I love him enough to have him as my computer wallpaper so ya glad he’s not really dead.

I think he’s not dead. He has a deal with Wolf to intend he was killed to get the killer whom treat his son’s life. That’s my opinion and I hope to be right.

I wish he was dead, it would give the show something else to focus on. As a character Horatio is becoming a boring cliche
dude i cant beleive he would let someone shoot him al though there is somethin strange about those glasses. i think i remeber that wen he was shot the bullet didnt break up hence it probably passed non vital oragans hence he probably surrvived
Horatio Caine is the bane of my existence if i have to see him look away while he talks to someone only to look back at them at the last second b4 he puts his cheap shades on i will shoot myself. i hope to god he never comes back and the shows ratings will skyrocket. As for all the ppl who r his #1 fan i hope u carry non of his attributes or u will just b another waste of space where something useful like a garbage can might be. Lastly he is the reason i do not watch csi miami and never will till he really dies, new york might not have “charisma” but how about u teach horatio some common decency not to crack corny one liners about every dead body he comes across, thats not charisma thats sick. die horatio die.
in my life i have known alot of people tht has called alot of people wastes of space and they just dont have a clue and they are normally the ones who get people nocked up or get nocked up so i dont have any time to deal with people who waste good paper to write about people behind thier backs so if u hate this show dont watch it its that simple its your choice so dont waste good peoples time to write about somthing u dont have to watch so rock on h rock on keep on geting the bad guys

I think that he is not dead but will use this opportunity to go underground and get the guy that has been after him and his family.
Horatio Cane is the worst character i´ve ever seen in popular tv series or movies. I’d be glad to never see David Caruso play that awful person again.
