CSI and Two & a Half Men Crossover?!?

What happens when two of the top shows on television today decide to trade writers for an episode? One is a half-hour comedy, one is an hour-long crime drama. Sounds like the perfect match to me! 
CBS just published these videos showing us what went on behind the scenes when CSI Executive Producers, Naren Shankar & Carol Mendelsohn wrote an episode of Two & a Half Men & Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn of Two & a Half Men wrote an episode of CSI: Vegas.
In this first clip, the T&aHM writing team tackled writing an episode of CSI: Vegas. It will guest star Cybil Sheppard, so you know it’s going to be fun!! William Petersen gives us a great line, “Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.” I love it!
And here’s what happened when the CSI writers took on an episode of Two & a Half Men. There are some crazy-funny scenes in this clip alone. I love the quote, “I like mine gift-wrapped,” and “It looks like a Jackson Pollock painting!” If the episode is this good all the way through, it should be hysterical!
And here is a clip that takes us into the writers’ work room to see how they planned the episode and what they were thinking when they created the characters. And who knew a rubber chicken would be used that way…?
