CSI: Vegas - How Did They Do That?

by Lynn on May 3rd, 2008

This week’s CSI: Vegas was not only funny and fascinating, it also had some pretty “hot” special effects! But have you ever wanted to know how they filmed a guy lighting on fire and still moving as the fire is extinguished? Well, CBS knew that and created this very cool behind the scenes video to show us.

Paul Guilfoyle, who plays Captain Brass and William Petersen, better known in the show as Gil Grissom, fill us in on some of the details as they talk to Julie Chen on the Early Show. The stunt man who actually did get ignited tells us and shows us just how he does it…and survives! Who knew he had to put on frozen underwear and a fake head? Great stuff:
