Gary Dourdan Arrested on Drug Charges!

Recently, we found out that CSI: Vegas’ Gary Dourdan, aka Warrick, will be leaving the CSI cast at the end of this season. And there have been hints that the parting was not a voluntary one. Now comes the news that hunky Dourdan has been arrested after a night of heavy partying in Palm Beach.
He must have had a long night of partying, because about 5:00 am police officers found him asleep in a car on the wrong side of the street. When they tried to talk to him he seemed “disoriented.” He was taken to Palm Springs jail and later he posted $5,000 bond and was released. His charges were possession of suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills.
I wonder how much drugs could have played a part in his agreeing to leave the show. Or, conversely, I wonder if the stress of leaving the show drove him to self-destructive behavior, like using drugs.
Whatever the case, I hope for only best for him and if he does have a drug problem, I hope this is a wakeup call for him to get help. What are your thoughts?

Wow, I hate to hear this sort of news. Guess he had more going on than any of us realized! He’s in my prayers.
Shame on him! Who knew I’d hear something like that about Gary Dourdan of all people!
I hope he doesn’t leave the show. He is an important character, and would be sorely missed.

Gary Dourdan doing drugs… no way !!
He’s the last person i’d think of to do that! i hope he gets better and learns his lesson (and thinks twice about leaving the show)
First Georgia’s gone, now Gary’s going to be gone! And Grissoms’ planning to take some time off–whose next? As for Gary’s problems, I would like to know “what came first the chicken or the egg”? the firing or the drugs? Were any tests done to determine drug use? I have a very close relative who I love very much, who suffers from drug addiction and I know that drug addiction is a very strong disease that can affect anyone. I’ll pray for Gary for strength to help him fight this illnes. God Bless you, Gary

If Gary/Warrick leaves CSI Vegas, then I have “NO” reason to watch the show anymore! Gary, along with Nick (George Eads) is the glue that holds this show together. No way does Marg Helgenberger and Eric Zmanda become the common thread that comes to the forefront and continues to make this the #1 rated CSI show amongst the other 2, CSI Miami, CSI New York! I guess the people in the “KNOW” figure that 3 CSI shows are too many? Well, the better figure out real soon that they are killing off the wrong show!
I MUST agree with the entry b4 mine! If he leaves after Georgia is gone then that’s it for us here in the old dirty south………. No way will the show be the same w/o him!!
No one is above the law..but this should be a lesson learned for all that actors have problems too! This is not to be looked downed upon, but to lift a brother/sister up in prayer..my prayers are with him and others that are going thru..keep your head up!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warrick/gary was my favourite charachter of csi….and i will surely miss him…
