  Honestly, it doesn’t really bother me that Warrick is being written out of the story and he hasn’t really had a “story” in quite a while… and when he did, it was an epic fail (him getting married.. what the heck!)

  Secondly, Wendy/Hodges is way more exciting at this point that he is and it appears that Gary doesn’t even have that hop in his step anymore.

  All that really matters is that Marg, George and Billy sign (which he did yay!) because they’re actually interesting and are quite invested in the story.

  I’ll miss Warrick. They haven’t given him a good storyline in a while and he hardly got any screentime for the last couple of seasons, but he was a good character and always nice to look at ;)

  Definitely sad about it. But I don’t think he really had much to do of late except for that last bit of wack we just saw. If they do decide to kill off the character, I think it would be cool to have it a completely tragic accident. Nothing to do with a case, no madman stalking him, no bombs exploding, or wild shoot-outs. Also it would be nice if more time could be given to the coworker’s dealing with it. Sarah could even come back for the funeral. Just my opinion.

  It would be very interesting/exciting if they all got called to a scene, and the victim was him. Would be even better if it was his lame-o ex wife because now she’d actually have some sort of relavance/importance to the show. LOL

  This is some of the worst news I have heard in a long time. Does CBS think we are all warriors and can handle our favorite characters, our friends who we’ve known and have stuck by though thick and thin-just be killed off, with only a moments notice?? Terminating Gary Dourdan is a major loss. Yeah C.S.I will prevail and I’d honestly rather see the team “light staffed” than have to get to know a new person and have them turn out to be Keppler or something. Hopefully this is just a rumor.

  I think it is sad that Warrick is leaving but was not nearly as sad when Sara left but I like the idea of something very tradgic happing to him and having Sara come back to the funeral and plus that could be an oppertunity for catherine to show her feelings for Warrick that is just what i think and I think that CSI is slowly sipraling out of control

  I for one am really sad and shocked to hear of Gary Dourdan leaving.I love warrick,his reactions to things are so adorable you’d just like to grab him and protect him. As fan of gary’s I’d like him to be very happy in what ever he decides to do next.

  I am gutted that Warrick is leaving, even though he hasnt had a good storyline in ages he was still great, They’re need to start giving better storylines to other cast members or everybody will leave, Warrick should never leave , You Rock

  Gary Dourdan is leaving CSI: Vegas! Is he being forced out??? Gary Dourdan is an excellent actor. CSI Las Vegas is slowly going down hill losing good actors, first Sara now Warrack, no one like having to watch a new cast.

  I am very sad to see him go. This csi has the best combination of characters. It will be very hard to replace him. It’s like with any good series. Once you start changing too many of the well known characters it fumbles. They’ll have to find someone that equally inticing to watch. His character is very real and believable. I am very dissapointed.

  Hey - Gary Dourdan is one of the top guys in the series - wish they would throw the woman who plays Katherine right out of the series entirely - she is what cheapens the series, just far too ‘over the top’, pouty, trying to be sexy, the script doesn’t need her - hey guys in the script writing room - write her out and think of a character more believable for the part.

  If warrick goes he should go with a bang.If he dies bringing Sara back for his funeral would be a great idea as when she left there was no conclusion, no seemed to care.If they keep losing great charicters like Sara and Warrick then grissom is leaving in a year the show will be pointless the writers need to sort them selves out and turn the show around back into the great show we all started watching in the first place.

  Are they replacing Gary D becaise of his recent charge of drugs. If so i think that is so sad since many many actors have the same problem, but it doesn’t effect their acting. I hate to see him leave. He makes the cast complete.

  I am extremely bummed that Warrick is leaving! A former male friend turned me on to this show when it first came out, and I continued watching the show because of how gorgeous Warrick is…So sad to see him go…

  I think that killing Warrick Brown killed the show. Warrick was a damn good actor and im really sad and pissed to see him go. I just hope that they make the csi next season find the guy responsible for killing him. Again I’m sad to see him go, and I hope he finds something else to become great at. Warrick Brown will be missed alot.

  Just saw the season finale. I am so hurt. I could have jumped out of my seat when I saw the first shot. Then when the second shot occurred, I knew that he was not coming back. I will miss you Warrick. You were by far one of the best characters.

  I was shocked that they shot Gary. Sra leaving was sad as well, but I am in lust with William Peterson lol so as long as he stays I will continue to watch the show faithfully and purchase the seasons as I have been doing.

  Man, I was so upset, but since Nick was still in the diner, I think he’ll come out just in the ‘nick’ of time… omg, bad pun. Anways, I really hope that happens and that Warrick doesn’t die. He is one of my favorite characters. God, this episode makes me so angry. I hope Nick finds him and saves him.

  Im so upset about this, and shocked for that!!! Especially the way it happend it was definitely a jaw dropper for me, I thought he was great in the show and I really hope he isnt dead and someone finds him & he is saved, I hope this doesnt make the show suck, like what happened with the OC when they killed off Marissa (Mischa Barton) the show went down hill from there!

  I knew “Warrick” was going to be written off, saw the handwriting on the wall early in the season. The writters stop giving the character any type of “meaty” story lines. No substance. It was just a matter of time before they wrote him out entirely. It just sucks they went with the angry “black man” theme. Going off and killing someone after disobeying orders -out of control - substance abuser. There are a hundred other ways they could have gone with his character. First Sara now this. Stick a fork in me, I’m done…with CSI.

  It was kinda brutal how it was done..but I guess thats showbiz for ya! could see it coming with the “goodbyes” from the crew and the exiting the door of the diner. But..I will be glad when they nail the creep who did shoot him. Ill be watching next season…!!!

  OMG…I knew Warrick was leaving but I didnt think they would kill Warrick off the show since no one else got killed off except that 1 chick from season 1.Warrick was one of my favorites. I always thought that him and Catherine would hook up. I started crying as soon as he got shot, I was not expecting that and then he got shot again WTF. since Nick was still there maybe he will find him in time and they could be like that one dude from CSI Miami who was shot twice @ still lived. I cant wait for next season

  I have missed Sara sincer her departure, and now, I am going to miss Warrick, too. I did not know his character would get killed in the end. That was very sad. After all, Sara and Warrick were part of the original CSI team. On the other hand, I understand the need for a “change” and with the two exits this season, perhaps the storyline and characters will once again have its intrigue and substance, which makes CSI what it is known to be, a kick-a** show. I am still a big and loyal fan, irregardless, of cast changes. Lots of cheers, Grissom & Co.!

  Thought they did a great job with the ending. Nick could still find him in time - but if Gary wants out he wants out. Things change. Be nice if Warrick was still alive though. Ramona - did you even watch after the first ten minutes?

  I’m very upset over the killing of Warrick Brown, couldn’t they have it where someone fines him in time to save him with the story line being that he’s in a coma for a while, etc. then comes out of it and tells what happened. Or have Warrick have a twin brother who comes in and takes his place, played by, you guessed it - Gary. And just letting Sarah walk off, why can’t you bring her back, especially since she was Grissoms love interest - they were made for each other.

  I can’t believe that Warrick was killed off, it really upset me. I also liked Sara, her and Grissom were great together. I hope Sara comes back and I hope Warrick is found by Nick and remains part of the show. I won’t ever watch it again if Grissom ever left. He is the show.

  I can’t believe Warrick is gone! My whole family was in shock after he was shot. Especially when he was cleared from the murder. I hope Nick heard the shots from inside the restaurant and comes out in time to see the jerk who did it. I can’t wait for next season. Will be watching most definitely to see what happens.

  what the hell is wrong with you people, if it isn’t broken don’t try to fix it. Last year Sara now Warrick. Why do you think the rest of the cast are worth paying a decent paycheck but not these two? Don’t ruin another good show isn’t too late to fix this tragedy, give the guy a raise and bring him back. He is just as important to the show as the rest of them. Please dib’t do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I was horrified to watch Gary be shot!!! Couldn’t believe it! He will be missed. This show is one of the only good things to watch on Thursday nights. I loved ER too until they started changing all the cast members! I hope this isn’t the downward spiral of the show to be taken off the air!! Goodluck Gary in whatever you decide to pursue!

  I am very, very upset and disappointed that the writers and producers had to kill him off this way, I just and pray they see the light before its too later. Gary Dourdan (Warrick) is one of the finest jewels in the crown known as CSI: Las Vegas. Maybe Gary has had some problems in his personal life but does that make it right to kill him off. He is one of finest actors you have. I hope you have him in coma for a time then he will beable to solve the murders. Please let him live!!!!! The show will never be the same again if you don’t bring him back. Please give him a second chance to work things out. Gary Dourdan is truly a great asset to your show. If you drop him for these drugs charges your fans will drop off but if you write it that he is a coma you will being giving him time to heal and overcome this problem in his personal life.
  If you look around you, watch TV or the papers, there are always other superstars. music singers, Very RICH play girls that has done many times over and all they do is laugh in everyones faces and do it again (I think you know who they are) they have the money to sweep it under the carpet and everyone just turns and looks away. You must learn to forgive him for his mistake and give him a chance to be redeemed and get well so he can come back once again as Warrick Brown. There are too many things that aren’t finished and too many things he must do. So please listen to your fans and veiwers out here, WE ALL WANT GARY DOURDAN (Warrick Brown) ALIVE come this September 2008 !!!!!!!!!!!!

  folks dont write him out yet. note the lack of blood from neck wound, it missed the carotoid artery. secondly second shot we didn’t see where it struck him. third. rumors are flying that he IS coming back

  It didn’t really bother me that Sara left the show, although I liked her character with Grissom’s. Warrick? Now, that’s another story altogether! I thought I was going to have heart failure when he was shot. I kept waiting for Nick to come out of the restaurant to help him. I don’t know if I’ll be able to continue watching with him gone. Also, why did Alex (Khandi Alexander) have to leave CSI: Miami? This is just terrible! They feel like family.

  i am sooooooooooooo not impressed that Warrick is gone!! i was thinking that maybe because Nick was left in the diner after everyone left that maybe he will catch the traitor after he heard the gun shots!! now that I read these things about him, it seems more and more that he won’t be returning, and that sucks. i know that he didn’t have a lot of air time as of late, but damn - when you think of CSI Warrick is the first person that comes to mind. Well i will miss him and i hope that the new season will keep my interest!!!

  I can’t believe another good character is going. Warrick is a great character, it is just to sad him going. He is a good actor and the role he plays fits the CSI team perfectly. I fear with all these good characters leaving the show won’t be worth watching!!!

  they killed him nooo it’s sooo sad but not as sad when Sara left:).I hope they catch the cop who killed him. I hope they have a funeral for him and Sara comes back because she was my fave character, This is shocking they’re ruining csi.
  If Grissom leaves next i’m not watching anymore it will be pointless. Love the show but they’re making big mistakes killing warrick and making Sara leave. Warrick should just be in a coma not dead and Sara should come back for good.
  Can’t wait for season 9 ;)

  Warrick can’t leve the show. He is the reason I started watching the show in the first place. Only five of the original cast will be on the show. Wonder how the show will turn out. Still can’t believe that he is not returning for the new season. Goods actors is the reason that viewers keeping watching the show. Definitely will miss Warrick.

  First Sara now Warrick, the cast is now getting very thin and most replacements never take the place of the original cast, and how they all seemed to fit perfectly together, what a way to kill what was a really good show with a great cast.

  I am so close to crying right now. I moved out of my moms house in January and have assumed a life a partying all the time so I haven’t watched the new episodes on Thursday in like 5 months. I sobbed when Sara left… sobbed. It was such an intense episode. And now WARRICK!!!!!!!! WTF! Oh my god. Gary if you read this I am begging you to sign the stupid contract! I will start watching the new episodes again, I swear! But like… will someone tell me whats going on? Have they shown the episode where he leaves yet? Or are they just gonna do that at the beginning of the new season?

  As I have read from many others, the character Warrick Brown leaving has finished my CSI Las Vegas watching days. I thought he was a terrific and IMPORTANT asset to the show. CBS is saying that Gary has decided not to return, we all know what this means. They are not giving him an option. Perhaps if the writers would use his wonderful acting ability a bit more they would realize that there are many more fans of Gary than even written here. Again, he goes and I am done with that show. I will tune into CSI NY and CSI Miami instead. Very poor choice in judgement.

  UNBELIEVABLE!!! IT REALLY REALLY LEFT ME UPSET!!! it has been a week since i’ve seen the season finale in AXN and i really really don’t like it!!! C’MON!! BRING WARRICK BACK PLEASE!!! are the writers going to kill the casts one by one!!! letting sara go was fine… it was bound to happen anyway since her leaving was already an old news (few years ago)…

  so who’s next now? catherine, nick, george or grissom?!?! you could even kill eckli or hodges for all i care! but not WARRICK!!! his character is a solid, cool, integral part of CSI crew!!! not too much complication and drama!!! please please bring him back in the new season!!! and i hope they do catch that guy!!!

  To bad Warrick had to leave the show. Everyone of the cast except Sarah, click. I am glad William Peterson signed for another year. The show is Grissom. The other characters are important but he is the show. Without him I really don’t think CSI would last very long.

  I was so shocked that they killed Worrick off I thought they were finally giving him a storyline. I thought this guy was a good actor and he proved it to me, he dies excellent that acting was wonderful this dud can act WOW!! When I see he is in a movie I am watching it. If your reading these Gary I think you are great and you will go far just hang in.
