CSI: Las Vegas – Major Cast Changes!!!

According to Michael Ausiello of TVGuide.com, Gary Dourdan is leaving CSI: Vegas! He’s been a part of the CSI crew since the show began and now he’s announced that when his contract is up at the end of this year, he won’t be returning to the show. I, for one, am sad to see him go. I have always liked his character and, hey, he’s not hard to look at either! As I find out more details of his plans after leaving the show, I’ll let you know.
Meanwhile, the great news is that William Petersen has signed a contract to return for another year. And from what Ausiello tells us, none of the other cast members plans to leave just yet. So it’s been a tough year for the original CSI show, but hopefully, with the continued great writing and acting the show is known for, the show will continue to maintain its audience.

I’m lost for words, Its very upsetting to see the season end the way that it did.(Warrick is the man)He was a bad ass. So what that he ran into some trouble along the way. No one’s perfect by all means..Warrick will be missed by many fans!
I watched the episode where Warrick dies from being gunned down. I was so sad I actually cried a little. I know it’s just TV but Warricks’ character was so lovable. I know he’s had his personal troubles in ‘real life’ but I wish there was some way all of that could have been worked out while he continued with the show. Catherine, Grissom, the whole team they were like the CSI FAMILY! Their characters complimented one anothers. Even Sara as boring as she was I miss her being on the show as well. I live for all the CSI’s but CSI Las Vegas is my favorite! It may be impossible but please please put Warrick back on the show please! Bring him back as a ghost that haunts the ‘mole’ that killed him. I WANT WARRICK BACK!!!!!
Warrick left because in real life in got into some trouble in Fl. So he is lookoing at jail time. It doesn’t bother me one bit about him or Sara leaving. Mostly Sara, didn’t like her from day one.

I THINK THE PRODUCERS ARE CRAZY FOR LETING GIL, SARA AND GARY GO. AND TO REPLACE GIL WITH LAWRENCE UGH… CSI LAS VEGAS RATINGS WILL GO DOWN THE TUBE.. I WILL NOT WATCH 2009 SERIES. YOU MADE A BAD MISTAKE
I am SO pissed that they killed Gary off. My Mom turned me onto this show, and I’ve only watched it because of Warrick, he was by far the best on the show, (not to mention, he is seriously good looking, 100% pure sexyness). I think they should of thrown him in jail for a bit untill this trouble he’s in blows over, then had him come back. I, for one, won’t be watching the show anymore, only re-runs. As for Gary Dourdan, I hope he does well and gets help with his problems. Best of luck. =)
Get a grip. It’s just a TV show, albeit one I like a lot. But, if Gil goes, the show is toast.
I agree with chef 242. I honestly believe that Grissom is the key to the success of CSI vegas. I feel he was the best supervisor of the three series I just don’t see how it will be worth watching the series without him. I may have to stop at this season when it comes my DVD collection of CSI…

We always watch all of the CSI shows and NCIS. They all have to be top rated so why ruin a good thing with all of Grissom,Sara, & Warrick gone we don’t even want to watch the show anymore. We love the other actors on the show but it’s not the same and our favorite is NCIS because it’s a great show and they make it funny too and we all could use a laugh these days.I hope it never changes.
i love C.S.I. im only 13 (14 on May 5th) but i have watched this show every Thursday since i was 10! i love it! yes there have been some changes, but its still the same to me. its the only C.S.I. i watch! i am doing C.S.I. for my 8th grade project. im working on it noe so bye.:)
It really stinks, these actors can’t be replaced! They make the whole show, the best!
Love the show and was sorry to see warrick ,gil, and sara go. Lawrence although I am not sure of his ability to contribute to the show, I wish him well and will continue to watch as a loyal follower.
On the flip side, please convey to Gary Dourdan that life is short seize the opportunity make his the best i can be without letting the outside pressures drag him down

i was saddened by warrick being gone in the show and seeing him shot dead in season 9 on the hands of his mentor, grissom..how tragic and sad .. warrick is one of my favorite characters in csi vegas, i like the way warrick carries himself as a scientist and him bearing such a strong character though he started the job with a little good reputation by being a bad ass at first…why does he have to end his contract anyway?! he will be surely missed by everyone.. csi vegas is csi vegas, so in my opinion, a lost of one or two original casts could mean a big change in the show..i just hope no one else will follow warrick and go..(”,)

Been a FAN ever since it first came out but I keep missing that one. I keep checking the channels and have yet to find it. PLEASE HELP!!!
I think warick will be very missed and will also need a replacement for the “bad boy”. What’s up with Sara coming back and not Gil? I think the new doc should become a serial killer. Always a good show but also always needs to stay ahead of the others.
Where is Gil? Why Is Sara back w/o him? I always felt that Gil held it together and now everybody is going different ways. I think the doctor has a dark side that needs to come to light. What is a gravatar?
sorry for warrick,,,he is hot and warm and good actor, he transmit ….but Anna Belnap she is ok but aren’t actors supposed to study diction???sometimes between nasal and under tongue you never get what she is trying to say …she could learn from the others like kanakaredes who speaks very nice
Who/What was the lady’s name who was questioned in tonight’s (October 5, 09) episode who got into the electric (kinky) body paint? She appeared to be of asian and or hispanic decent. She kind of reminded me of Tia Carrere…..
I am so glad sarah is back and really sorry gary had to go but the show must go on, so can we please have MICHAEL EALY or ROBERT RI’CHARD come in his place as some kind of family, i don’t no, work it out people! but we need the eyes back!!!!!!!!!!!!
