CSI: Theme Park!

There are already three primetime CSI shows, various CSI computer games and various CSI fan web sites, but now we can look forward to a CSI theme park attraction. Check out this excerpt from a TV Squad article:

It’s been announced that at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, CSI: Live will premiere June 14 — and be shown multiple times throughout the day from then on. The interactive production is a way for fans of the show to simulate the fun of solving a crime the way the characters on CSI do. In 30 minutes, participants sitting in the Magic Moments Theater, will watch a crime take place and have to decipher the clues to figure out who did it and how. Kinda like mystery dinner theater — without the prime rib. Hopefully, any autopsy scenes will not be too graphic!

To add to the verisimilitude, such as it is, CSI: Live has the CBS cast members providing voice-overs and videotaped clues, including star William Petersen, who’s not known for being so sanguine about doing stuff like this. Other actors from the cast are also lending their talents in voice-overs and videotaped clues.
