CSI: Vegas – Will Grissom Leave Next?

According to BuddyTV, William Petersen, who plays CSI: Vegas’ Gil Grissom, is thinking about his character leaving the show at some time in the future. Here’s some of what he had to say about it:
“It’s hard to play the same character all the time; at some point you want to be released from that,” Petersen told the Radio Times. “I understood that going into CSI to a certain degree, but you don’t know how long it’s going to last. I think the time is coming when it will be the right choice for Grissom and the audience for me to do something else. I sort of know when, but it’s between me and the producers.”
So how would you imagine Grissom leaving the show? Would Sara return with a baby and he would decide to leave to make a life with them? Would he get in one huge argument with his superieors and they fire him? What do you think the story line would be? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!

if grissom leaves the show is not gonna be the same so if grissom does leave than u might as well end the entire show
Wow… Grissom leaving? That’s another huge blow to the CSI:LV family. If you lose Grissom, you are going to lose a lot of viewers.
if Grissom Leaves then there is no point in watching CSI anymore he is what makes the show as good as it is i would cry if he left!!!!
I would love to see Grissom & Sara run off into the sunset but agree that if grissom left then a lot of people would just switch off. He IS CSI!
Grissom, although one of my favorite characters, is not the “be all end all” of CSI for me. He’s not on the show alone every week and I think it’s kind of insulting to the rest of the incredible cast to assume they couldn’t carry on without him. I think CSI would suffer a bit, but that would likely be due to the combination of a major character leaving AND the fact that the show is getting on in years. It’s going to have to start loosing some steam at some point, but I for one will be there until the very end. This entire cast has given me an amazing show for 8 years and I’ll stick with them as long as it lasts.
WOW if grissom leaves the show will just be plane cause grissom is awkard you know and that’s what makes csi, csi and it would just be blech without him and since sara left the hasn’t been the same and if Grissom leaves it would just make it worse and that would really just put a damper on the amount of viewers and that’s just not cool
i don’t know. I would stick around. He may come back or there may be a twist and I would miss it. I trust the writers.
He tries this crap every yr, you guys ever get sick of it, it is justa publicity stunt. Theirs a reason he isn’t doing his dream of stage acting. Cause theres no work for him in it. Hes stuck with CSI as its the only role he’ll fit into and he fits just perfectly
I Love Grissom He’s My Fav With his witty comebacks so if he leaves Then its just going to be nick greg and cathrine and the cops and office rats (lol) cuz everybody else left o is in jail! so I dont think illl watch it any more!
I would hate to see Grissom or Sara leave I believe they make the perfect couple.

it would be very different if any of the vegas csi cast was to leave. weve settled into their charactors. but the show is still well written and the remaining cast are very strong. plus it doesnt mean that they wont bring more talent for fresh ideas. it has been 8 long years and ive loved every one of them. but im sure they could excite us more with new avenues…
You have not said if Grissim and Sara are going to be together. What a letdown if they do not stay together. So disappointing, they look so good together
i love csi so much. it is the best show ever
it would be bad if grissom left cuz hes inteteresting and all but i trust the writers too. im tuning in for Jorja and i wish she didnt leave but csi is still good

Grissom makes the show sparkle.
We need William Peterson as Grissom , he is the fuel of the program. The others leaving did not interfere with the dynamics of it.

I get the feeling that Sara is in the background even though Heather is back I cannot se the two of them together

Grissom is leaving January 15. I hate to see him leave but I have heard that Sara is going to be around, but I am not sure in what aspect.
If he leaves than the crime rate would sky rocket up. Haha… well it was a great show i just hope HORATIO! and his sunglasses done leave CSI miami cuz than there would be nothing to watch on TV. I Things CSI Miami is better than LV.
Last CSI when Grissom left the last part of the show I believe he was in Costa Rica walking through the bush and guess who was there? Sara I am so happy I hope it works out for them.
