I enjoyed the episode, but I think they could have done a better job and avoided recycling so many plot points:

character with semi-innocent childhood connections to organized crime (Danny)

character seeing friend killed as a child (Lindsay)

younger brother seeking revenge (Shane Casey)

killer using codes (also Shane Casey)

Stella's love interest being crazy evil (Frankie)

Stella's stalker being about Mac (Garret Reed)

Drew was obviously creepy from the beginning, but I was hoping he was a red herring so the last two points weren't repeated.

I don't think they were setting up for CSI: Chicago, but I loved the detective there calling Mac on his behavior (you know if this were Miami, no one would question Horatio taking over an investigation in another city)

I enjoyed this arc more than the Clay Dobson storyline from last season, but I think the Shane Casey arc was better.

I don't think there's gonna be a CSI: Chicago anytime soon. The timing isn't right with the strike going on and such...besides, they already have 2 spin-offs to deal with.

The whole thing with Drew was kind of disappointing. I was really rooting for a crazed Peyton ending. lol

wow this is one the the best csi episodes in a long long time! csi:NY is growing on me week by week. i only watched csi and csi: miami be4 and didn't really cared for NY but this season is just getting better and better. In comparison, CSI: LV is getting a little boring. This story line is as one of the best plot i've seen from CSI althogether.
