CSI: Vegas – What’s in Store for Warrick?

The October 22 issue of TV Guide had this little teaser about CSI: Vegas character Warrick Brown’s future this season. Check it out:

i love warrick brown!
I like Gary Dourdan as an actor. As a professional astrologer I must also say his chart is very interesting indeed. However, I am not fond of this new story line with a black man having all of these stereotypical issues on Prime time. Can we please have something upbeat and optimistic? I would like to see his musical talent spot lighted and use his intelligence to show how he can be a a man of integrity, honesty and loyalty, not a walking time bomb. Oh well. Is this life imitating art? Or the network just trying to make a stereotypical point about racism in this country?
In heart to Gary: You are amazing. Keep up the good work and spirit will provide what you need.

That is the last thing he needs is that! The story line flirtation with Catherine is boring. I think he needs something of substance that can sustain and give Gary an uplifting moral character. The most exciting thought would be to add more cultural diversity to Gary’s emotional, sexual interests. I mean what is CSI doing creating art imitating life? He is a Sagittarius on the extreme, but I am curious does he find all cultures enticing or just everyone but his own? I digress. Anyone can have sex as Catherine’s character has shown so easily. I think they need to add a little more substance to her character as well. However, what he needs is a writer that can do his acting ability justice! Give Gary some story lines that can actually set him above and beyond his area of expertise.
I grow tired of the slighted black man who never seems to be able to get his sh*t together. Come on this man has talent that hasn’t even been tapped into yet! Help him out! Before Gary becomes a ghost among the many black male actors in hollywood.
