Last Night’s TV Was ‘MURDER!’

Remember a while back when Jason told us about the new reality TV show, MURDER, where real everyday people get to pretend to be CSIs and detectives to solve cases? Well, the season premiere aired last night. TVGasm has published their review of it and I really enjoyed it too! I think I’d even love to take “stab” at being on it myself! (Sorry for the bad pun…) ;-)
Here’s an excerpt from TVGasm:
Every day men and women team up and solve real (pre-solved) murders. They have access to a masterfully recreated crime scene (not for dinner hour viewing) which they have to process, they chat in the morgue with the corpse by their side as they get autopsy results, they can question suspects — in essence they get to play detective / csi. This brings me back to being a wish fulfillment show. One of the reasons the show works is that the teams don’t win anything. It is a pure bragging rights show, and then presumably to avoid criticism that they are exploiting the victims, the winning team has a donation made in their name to the victims charity or if their is none, a charity in the area which the original crime took place.
This isn’t CLUE, it’s not even CLUE on steroids. If anything, MURDER is CLUE on crack. They even give you enough that there is a great play at home component to the show. Not for the faint of heart, MURDER on Tuesdays on Spike at 10pm.
