Jorja Fox Being Replaced on CSI?

This brand new article in TV Guide online says that it’s a very definite possibility. They are being evasive, of course, but it doesn’t look promising for Fox to continue as a regular on the show. Here’s an excerpt:
Although CSI hasn’t even pronounced Sara dead yet, it sounds suspiciously like the powers-that-be are already planning to breathe new life into the show by introducing a replacement for Jorja Fox’s hot cop.
Executive producer Carol Mendolsohn has told me exclusively that a new female character will turn up in this season’s third episode. “[She] may be a CSI or lab tech,” the boss said. And, according to my casting spies, the junior detective will be in her mid-twenties, fresh out of college and lacking the capacity for self-censorship.
Of course, this isn’t conclusive proof that Sara won’t emerge unscathed from her, um, car wreck. But it certainly seems plausible, even likely, considering what else we’ve learned this week. In an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, CSI exec producer Jonathan Littman said the “Sara-Grissom story line is going to conclude.” And you don’t get much more definitive closure than death, now do ya?

No way! The thought that Sara’s going to die makes me really sad. But I’m pretty sure that it will end up this way. Just for the drama that Grissom will face then!
I don’t think Jorja Fox will be out next season, but do you really think that CBS would tell either way? They are just creating expectations for next season, remember CSi is competing directly with Grey’s Anatomy, so they have to create expectation for people to watch the show next season, that’s why they used the firs cliffhanger ever…
Hmm, hard to say. I don’t think they will kill off Sara, I mean, no. They can’t air CSI without Sara Sidle!
i agree Ana…CBS just wants attention and if they take out jorja i think they will lose it.
What. no way Jorja rocks as Sara unless Petersen is leaving at some point this season
the new girl is Greg’s new girlfrien.
I don’t think they are taking her out of the show.. I mean, this is just to get everyone scared and just more wanting to watch the season’s premiere. It’s just an act to get everyone watching, and spread some angst along some fans. I mean, they also know if they would take Jorja out of the show they would lose a lot of viewers I mean, who doesn’t love Sara Sidle?

It was about time for her to leave, she and her relationship with Grissom destroyed season 7..so, I hope she leaves…Yeah, i am a bad, bad person..
I may end up in hell for saying all this horrible things about Sara Sidle but it’s worth it….

trekfan99 is right! Jonathon Littman said “GSR would conclude…but dont take it in a definitive term, ” That to me means it wont end……it is not closure to the relationship….WP and JF have stated over and over again, that they want to leave together…they will leave happily together…!
I have to say that I dont like the character sara but I do like Jorja Fox and in my oppinion I think that CSI will crush Grey’s Anotmy if sara dies because there will be so many more people watching just to see how GIl Grissom takes it . I mean will he be in a state of shock ? Will he go crazy and stop feeding his bugs ? Or will he say that he’s fine and really is fine . He isn’t predictable . No body BUT the producers and the cast knows what is going to happen and how he’s going to take it and trust me they wont let it out until after the season premier or until the story line continue’s . But again I say that it is just my oppinion.
Sara’s leaving, and Jorja’s packing up. That is my thought on the matter. I want her gone. Maybe after that Grissom will leave. I guess him skipping town wouldn’t be predictible, would it bethany?
