CSI:Miami New Season Spoilers
UPDATE: Lynn, you spoiled my spoiler! No problem, you beat me to the punch and I didn’t see your post before I published mine. So, two of us have posted it on it. What do we think? I believe he’s going to be related to some kind of crime family that gives him a conflicted conscious over what to do and how to handle the situation. I think he’ll decide on upholding the law regardless of the family implications.

What’s in the cards for the upcoming season of CSI:Miami? Ausiello over at TV Guide is saying that it will be some surprise family affairs for Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso.
Ausiello’s inside informant is saying that Horatio finds out about some members of his family, an entire “branch of his family tree that he never knew existed.”
What could it be? Who do you think?

Considering that Suzie and Madison were a whole branch of his family he didn’t know about it wouldn’t surprise me a bit. Horatio is all about family so it would be a logical way to add more depth to his character. Since most of the show is everyone at work this is about the only way to show us more of his character and stick with the showline.

Kristen at EOnline gave a little more detail:
Francis: You never talk about CSI: Miami. Dish!
Yessir! Horatio has a 16-year-old son, and we meet him in the upcoming season. His arrival creates quite a bit of conflict, since he’s not exactly the model teenager every daddy hopes for

i can’t wait! it will be awesome to watch David Caruso with a script worthy of his acting chops. he is a far better actor than the writers of CSI know what to do with. An unruly teenage son should be hilarious and dramatic at the same time. H is so controlled, a son will bring out the dad in him that no one else could. and maybe this will bring Susy and Madison back - I hope so because I liked his interaction with them.
You go David! We love you!
