More Information for Wanna Be Grissoms

CSI Exhibit at Chicago Museum of Science and Industry

I know, I know, I keep writing about the new CSI exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. However, I keep finding great resources and articles like this about the exhibit and it’s only been open for a few days now. This article goes into more detail about what you can expect as a visitor to the exhibit and less about just seeing the stars from the TV show.

The exhibit opens with a 4½-minute film starring Chicago actor William Petersen, who portrays Grissom in the original "CSI" show. "When you arrive at the crime scene," Petersen said, "keep an open mind. Notice everything. Document everything. Let the evidence guide you. First opinions are critical, but if the evidence changes, so must the theory. Remember, the dead can’t speak for themselves." Visitors view one of three scenes, which may or may not have been a murder. To view more than one scene requires more than one museum visit.

Wait a minute. I’ve got to visit the museum more than once to get to see each exhibit? How’s that work? Is it a way to just manage the amount of visitors and divide them up into 3 groups throughout the process? Hmmm, there’s some evidence we need to look at further I believe.

  1. I can’t watch blood and corpse. CSI is not for me. Plus I’m not that deep-thinking kind of person like Grissom did. That is a lot of hardwork.
