Meet Dr. Gary Telgenhoff
How much do you know about CSI: Vegas? Do you know the real deal though?
Dr. Gary Telgenhoff is the Clark County (Las Vegas) deputy medical examiner. Anthony Zuiker personally observed Dr. T as he’s called when writing the basis for the original CSI series.
Dr. Telgenhoff shared some interesting information about the real work done by CSI’s that’s not exactly what you see on TV.
Real CSI’s collect evidence. They gather fingerprints and bullets and take countless photographs. Solving a crime is a team effort. Real CSI’s do not do most things you see on TV. They do not:
· Interview witnesses
· Look through microscopes
· Do autopsies
· Run tests
· Solve crimes
Dr. T shared more information about being a real CSI and you can read all about it at The Student Operated Press. Check out their site, I’ve found a number of interesting articles there lately written by Ileana Llorens.
