Triple Threat on CSI:Miami Tonight
Tonight’s episode was almost like a Double-Mint gum commercial. Just when you thought you were going crazy like Delko, you end up seeind identical twins and the victim, who hired somebody to be him for public relations events for $100,000 per year.

After a wealthy businessman is killed at a charity event the CSI’s first suspect his wife who was hosting the event. The blood evidence is thought to belong to the wife or her two secret twin sisters but leads the investigators in another direction after the victim is not who they thought he was.

Episode Synopsis from TV.com
A rich, real-estate mogul gets shot, falls off a balcony and is impaled on an ice sculpture. Turns out he had hired a man, paying him $100,000 per year, to give up his life and his identity and become his body double for charity events and other tasks.
They think it was his wife, but she was downstairs. But then they find out she has a twin, so it could have been either one of them now. The facts lead the team on a variety of trails, which also leads them to another murder. This time it was the real-estate mogul’s ex-personal assistant who had been clubbed in the head and dismembered with a saw-zaw by his new personal assistant.
The synopsis above really gives away too much information for this episode. Luckily, I had copied and pasted the clip above in preparing my recap, but didn’t actually read it. Since I’m watching this episode live, I just found out the wife was a triplet, putting another twist into the action.
It turns out the three sisters grew up poor and this was their way of setting up all three with a lifetime lifestyle insurance plan. Marry a rich guy, divorce him and take him for everything. The only problem with their plan was that he requried a pre-nuptial agreement. That forced them to have a child so the child would get everything in the event of his death, which then of course led to his attempted murder.
The CSI team did a great job of tracking down the blood samples and running the tests they needed to determine which sister was responsible for which chapter of the story of their life.
