CSI: Vegas Has Been Nominated for a Genesis Award!

March 5, 2007 by Lynn

The Genesis Awards are a prestigious award for entertainment that promotes animal rights. According to the Awards web site:

The Genesis Awards, presented by the Hollywood Office of The HSUS pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works in television, film, print and the arts which raise public understanding of animal issues. Genesis Awards are presented annually at a star-studded ceremony drawing representatives from the media, entertainment, social, business and humane communities. Known as the nation’s premier consciousness-raiser, the awards are bestowed by a host of celebrity presenters, and the event is taped for broadcast to expose millions of viewers to animal wrongs—and animal rights.

Just as interesting is the fact that Jorja Fox is on the Honorary Committee for the organization.

Congratulations to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for the nomination! Good luck!

As the process of decomposition takes over, the resulting effect is methane gas which bloats the body like a balloon. You’ve seen it, just like the latest road kill on your commute to work, a little raccoon balloon. Is it odd that I’m talking like this after Lynn’s recent post about CSI:Vegas winning a Genesis Award? [...]
