“Sleight of Hand” - Jason’s recap

by Jason on March 4th, 2007

Lynn was right in her recap earlier, this was a great episode and it couldn’t have been played any better than with Criss Angel playing the part of Luke Blade.

This episode was intense from the standpoint of blood and gore, I thought even pushing the limits of what I would have expected them to show on television. The scene of the girl getting cut in half, and the aftermath was probably the most extreme scene I’ve seen in the CSI franchises.

Lynn helped me see something in some relationships in this episode that I hadn’t really paid much attention to in the past. Guess that’s going to be one of the great benefits of having two bloggers on the site now, getting things from different perspectives. I hadn’t ever caught the potential relationship between Danny and Lindsay. It was pretty evident in this episode that there are some strong feelings there on both sides. It will be interesting to see how this develops and how it impacts the the working environment. Whenever I see relationships like this establish on an action series like this is that they’re setting up for someone to get shot or something for a season finale.
