“Man Down” aka “No Man’s Land - Part 2″: Episode Recap

Man Down
A member of the team dies after being shot in the head; the CSIs find evidence that could lead them to the man behind the team member’s shooting.

That’s the synopsis provided by iWon TV, but not so quick. The first few minutes of the episode they lead you to believe that Eric Delko’s character dies because the doctor calls the time of death. After commercial though you find that Calleigh and Ryan are talking to a doctor that tells them they’ve been trying to revive Eric for 11 minutes.

After stabbing him in the heart with some kind of medicine that jumpstarts his heart. He sits upright on the table with an eerie gaze on his face. Through the program they determine that he’s lost his memory and keeps asking for Marisol.

In the ongoing plot surround Clavo Cruz, the link him to blood diamonds and his real biological father, who provide the money that was transferred to Horatio Crane’s account. Further investigation determines that the court reporter he kidnapped was on Clavo’s side and helped him escape.

Clavo ends up meeting with his previously thought-to-be father and ends up shooting and killing him to get to Horatio and pick-up a stash of uncut diamonds in the general’s home.

Clavo’s newly identified biological father is also convinced to give him up by Crane, which obviously has an emotional impact on Clavo and puts him over the edge a little further against Horation Crane.

More contacts with a diamond distributor from Antwerp, Belgium is employing 5 children and their father (maybe he’s not their father) in her diamond cutting shop in the heart of Miami. Hidden in a secluded room that’s found by Ryan and Natalia with a search warrant.

Clavo comes to the front entrance of the police precinct and meets Horatio for a showdown. Horatio obviously wins with a quicker draw and bullet to the heart.
