University of Indianapolis will be Specialists in Forensic Video
According to a recent article in the IndyStar newspaper, the University of Indianapolis will specialize in forensic video and will be training police agencies all over the world in their skill.
The University of Indianapolis today announced that it has signed an agreement to establish a site for training law enforcement officers worldwide in high-level forensic video analysis and to serve as a command center for this work during national emergencies.
The deal with Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Video Association calls for a $285,000 first-of-its kind lab at the university with computers and software for performing highly sophisticated analysis of crime scene video, such as footage from surveillance cameras.
Sometimes stuff like this makes me wish I’d gone to a different school and maybe pursued different educational paths.
