CSI Gets Nominated for 2007 People’s Choice Award

The original CSI series has garnered a nomination for a 2007 People’s Choice Award for Best TV Drama.

The potential podium smack down isn’t the only face-off awards show organizers had in the works. While Grey’s Anatomy star Washington had the honor of announcing his show among the nominees for Favorite TV Drama, he also had the dubious distinction of naming on-set combatant Patrick Dempsey as one of the nominees for Favorite Male TV Star, the only individual nomination the show received.

Joining ABC’s hospital hit in the TV Drama category were House and time slot opponent CSI.
