CSI Episode Review: Built To Kill, Part Two
It was an emotional episode especially for Marg Helgenberger or Catherine Willows as she thought she was raped after being drugged and finding herself in her hotel room still feeling dizzy; though she was relieved to find out it was negative based on her rape kit test. Her drama continued when her daughter was kidnapped and her abductors were asking for 20 million dollars. Her father Sam suspected that they were being used to get back at him, and true enough one of his brother’s business partner named Joe Hirschoff was getting up the 20 million dollars he lost of the deal through the ransom money of the kid. CSI were able to rescue Lindsay, Catherine’s daughter after a series of finger printing led them to the suspects.
On the other story, CSI was investigating the death of rockstar Izzy Delancy which led to various suspects like his wife, ex-wife, son from ex-wife, gardeners, housekeepers, etc. Since they suspected that the killer has easy access to the house, they had to take everyone as their suspect, but in the end, their choices narrowed down.
If it wasn’t for the storyline centered on Catherine Willows, the episode could have been so boring.

Thank you for the synopsis of this week’s episode of CSI. I missed it last night and have been kicking myself for it, but now I know there wasn’t really anything I missed. I love this site and have RSS feed to My yahoo page. Thank you again

Could someone please explain the end of this episode to me? What did it mean when Grissom turned the tiny picture over and there was an image of a baby doll’s eye with a red splotch on the forehead? Did he know who the killer was??

I am so confused. I dont understand how the show ended. What was the point of Grissom looking at the picture? Who did it?? What happened?

Does anyone know the name of the song and who it is by that Grissom and Doc Robbins rocked out in the morgue, while paying tribute to the still body of Izzy Delancy (Danny Bonaduce) on the gurney between them. The doc goes so far as to sing the COD: “Blunt force trauma to the back of the brains death was probably swift” afterwards.
Thank you so much,
Ruth

Same question as Sherri and crushingchestpain - wht is the significance of the doll’s eye at the end of the second episode this season?

The significance of the eye at the end of the episode was probably referring to a play by William Shakespeare called Othello, I think it was act 3 in which othello claims that one man is a green eyed monster(envious). Envy could be a motive for the killing on a successfull man, maybe the man wishes he could have a child or even the woman that may have killed him(unlikely since only 5% of women are serial murderers)

Does anyone know the name of the song of that guitar solo, during the csi propaganda of this episode??? during of what the doc was singing “Blunt forced trauma to the back of the skull, fractured the occipital bone. There was massive haemmorhage in the brain, and death was probably swift”, I really want the name of that guitar solo!!!
