Who needs TV? Watch CSI on the Internet
I don’t watch television anymore and instead spend most of my time in front of the computer watching shows on DVD (we are pretty much updated from where I live :)), surfing and programming, and the latest news on CBS where all three franchises of CSI will be viewed on the internet makes it more convenient to me and I would like to believe a lot of people also.
The three franchises will be aired a day after its airing schedule and shall run for four weeks. A cool feature includes being able to “bookmark” what your watching to pause and continue it sometime.
CBS will be making money through advertisements where it shall contain 15 to 30 seconded ads (shorter compared to television) which cannot be skipped.
Darren pointed out they are a season or two behind in Australia; but I am not sure about how this will be handled and whether Australia can watch updated shows directly from the internet. But at least, you’ll get more chances of finding floating videos around for download on episodes once loaded in the internet.

Do you know if this service will be available around the world? I’m asking because a few months ago ABC ran a similar trial and offered several of their popular shows for free on their website (Alias, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Commander in Chief, etc.). Unfortunately, it was only available to U.S. residents so I was out of luck on that point. It would be great to be able to see CSI without having to wait a year for it to get to Japan!!

I still do not know whether it will be shown to countries where CSI aired a season later. But I will post once I get to learn more about it.

i live in england, and i just went on innertube on the CBS website, and found that the csi episodes can only be played to US residents. such a bummer. they have just finished season 6 on channel 5 in england, got to wait a year now for season 7. =( just gonna have to play my dvds of csi now over and over again till then!

omg your from greece, well i’m greek but i live in canada. I have always wanted to be a forensic investicator and then like, last year my mom told me there was a show called C.S.I miami. i cant get enough Haratio! :) ;)

Well,I am from Singapore… lucky me, the cables here are showing CSI Season 7. And guess what CSI are so hot that the chinese in China are watching this show as well..(by the way just for info..Singapore is not in China..always getting a lot of ppl having that concept.)
