Grey’s Anatomy vs CSI?
Grey’s Anatomy is confident they can take CSI on a head on collision beginning September where Grey’s timeslot if moving opposite CSI. Is there really a competition given CSI’s dominant market position?
Catherine Willows has this to say:
‘CSI’ has always been underestimated from Day 1 by everyone but the fan. Our network has underestimated us. The critics have underestimated us. But the fans have not. . . . With all due respect to ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ABC moving that show opposite us, I think, was the biggest motivator we could have had. . . . Like, ‘Hey, we don’t want to relinquish the throne that easily.’ Just to be safe, “CSI” has a few circus tricks up its sleeve. The show will return with a two-part special that takes place behind the scenes at the Cirque du Soleil show “Ka” in Las Vegas.
The episode will find Catherine and her family in jeopardy when someone slips something into Catherine’s drink.
This is very interesting and Grey’s Anatomy is a good choice to compete with CSI, but how much viewers will they be able to salvage and move from CSI to Grey’s Anatomy? Which are you going to choose?

I definitely think CSI is vulenrable right now. Last season didn’t have as many quality episodes as previous seasons, and the whole Grissom/Sidle thing could turn into a mess the way David/Maddie and Mulder/Scully did. But is Grey’s Anatomy the show to take down CSI? I don’t know.

I like CSI I have been a very loyal viewer but I LOVE GREY’S ANATOMY as soon as the show is over I am wanting more. I believe CSI is going to get a run for its money. Networks are not dumb they have a STRONG following for Grey’s enough to think they can do this also. SO WATCH OUT CSI!!!!! I know where I will be in 2 weeks.

Grey’s Anatomy & CSI are my total Fav’s. However has anyone ever heard of TIVo? Yes, People you can watch either one at any time….

I was worried CSI would push Grey’s off the air but now im convinced Grey’s are the new champions.
