Character Story
In the character he portrays he is a science nerd that do not have the skills or interest for a romantic and sociable lifestyle. He is in the same page as Sara Sidle. Gil is the saviour of Warrick Brown on several law conflicts and maintains a fatherly bond with Nick Stokes.
Confessions
Based on an interview with him by CBS News, what disturbs Gil the most are episodes that involve children. This nerd in real life also would like people to see him having a big “brain” than a big “heart”

The thing that ticks grissom of the most is when people talk about people who have diffrences. Oh thanks Big John for making that correction of were billy is from, Chicago is just basically his favorite city.

I’ m sorry but i was watching almost all of season 5 and grissom drove me nuts because he keeps on turning down sara “foxy” and he doesn’t realize but Nick and Greggo want her too, so move your move you fool…. i no i did watch the season six finale..OMG!!! I love u gris, u finally got the guts to talk to her outside of work and in a sexual manner omg i am werid

i have watched almost every show on CSI, i love this show and grissom is my favorite. I hope he isn’t leaving or the interest for me will not be as much. I’m just waiting for him to come back. To add Liev Shriver was surprising but not as exciting. He brings the bad out of the crew. So I am SO hoping Grissom does come back.

Whoever just said that Nick wants Sara too has clearly been reading too many Snicker’s fanfics because there is absolutely no onscreen indication to verify, or even suggest that possibility whatsoever. There isn’t even any offscreen indications to imply it for that matter.
It has been said time and time again that Sara and Nick are seen to be brother and sister, in fact there is a lot more onscreen evidence that suggests a possible attraction that Nick may have to Cath, starting with the kiss in Pilot, the fact that he confides with her about his past in Overload, and the fact that they go dancing together in Built to Kill (1), and that’s just for starters.
What possibly gave you any kind of indication that Nick might WANT Sara? Because you have been seriously misinformed!

Grissom come back! Now that you and Sara are gone so will I. The show could never be the same without you two. My husband and I plus many other feel the same way. CSI LV rating will decline! I just can’t say enough, I think I’m going to be sick. My good-bys to a bunch of great actors who shared their story line and made their character so real and alive.
I will miss!
