CSI Miami Bride

by Milo Riano on May 1st, 2006

TVGuide published an interview with Alana over their site with focus on her career’s prosperity.

Alana’s beauty and acting talent propelled her to greater heights. In the interview she says how blessed her career has been so far with all the opportunities and projects coming her way.

Look at CSI where she was only supposed to make an episode or two; the way it looks, she’s in the show for the long haul especially when she becomes the wife of Horatio. :) What do you feel about her?

In an excerpt:

De La Garza: I’m telling you, I’ve been really, really blessed. I’m grateful and I’m just hanging on for the ride, praying that it continues. CSI has been really fun because it was supposed to be one or two episodes, but the story line has continued and continued and continued.

De La Garza: It was going to be one or two. I was going to play his sister and have cancer. I said “OK, wow. Awesome.” Then I worked with David Caruso and he turned out to be really great and they said, “Let’s do a story line.”

I want her in the show long enough to rise above CSI’s darling Catherine Willows. I have nothing against her, I just find it interesting if someone could actually put a dent in her popularity across the CSI franchise.

Enjoy the rest of the interview here.
