How natural does the romance between David and Alana look in CSI Miami?

For one, David admits that their relationship is complex given Alana is sick and both of them are contemplating on stopping chemo therapy in the hope that they would bear a child. Becoming a family would not be that simple specially if the relationship is bound to end soon with Alana’s cancer ailment; though it would be interesting to see if she manages to survive the situation through the help of David. How much love could that translate in the show? How much drama could it be?

How pleased is David going to be knowing that Alana feels positively towards her in real life?

“He’s great,” she says. “One thing I think about David that people don’t know is that he’s very funny — really a ball of energy and a cool guy to work with.”
